While there are a few games on sale for this Fourth of July celebration, you can’t find a better price than free! Seemingly out of nowhere, MobileBits has released their second Action/RPG game in Soulcraft 2: League of Angels. The first SoulCraft game was a successful entry for MobileBits and the graphics and game play were fun. As a matter of fact, the original game really impressed us with what was possible on mobile devices.

The virus breeding game Plague Inc will soon be getting an update themed around the upcoming movie Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. This is a pretty interesting update that will be coming our way soon because players will be able to simulate the viruses and such from the actual movie.
TellTale Games has finally brought over their rather popular game The Wolf Among Us to Android but there is a bit of a catch to picking this game up, at least for right now. Amazon AppStore has snagged the rights to have a temporary exclusive in regards to the release of The Wolf Among Us.
HyperDevBox is known to release these massively sized Android games which usually are tactical RPGs or robot-filled arcade games such as ExZeus. Their newest game, which is now available on Google Play, isn’t either of those two types of games. This time it is an Indy racing themed game called Indy 500 Arcade Racing and this time the size isn’t that big, only weighing in at a mere 100MB.
In Heroes & Castles, Foursaken Media has created a genre blending game that is part Action-RPG, Strategy and Castle Defense. Either of those types of games individually can bring plenty of fun gaming, but put them together and you have a formula for success. Heroes and Castles has plenty to offer if you are willing to dive in for the long haul. In the name of your King who is near death, you must defend the castle gates.
99 Bricks Wizard Academy is a new Tetris style of game but it does have one very significant twist to it then most other ones that mimic Tetris. Instead of stacking up the shaped blocks in order to make a full line which is then removed from the play area, your goal is to build a tower as high as you can using those blocks.
Roughly a week ago we reported on Civilization Revolution 2 coming to mobile soon thanks to 2K Games and Firaxis Games teaming up. While there wasn’t a ton of details released about what we can expect from this version of the game at that time, we now know a bit more of what to expect when it does get released.
One game we are currently keeping an eye out for getting released is Devolver Digital’s and Deconstructeam’s The Gods Will Be Watching game, set to be released onto mobile in the very near future. For those of you who missed our previous coverage of this game, this is a great retro-style adventure game that is themed around making good moral decisions. Almost like how The Walking Dead is in a lot of ways since your choices decide the progress you make through the game.
Square Enix hasn’t had their first Hitman mobile game out on the market all that long but that doesn’t mean the company hasn’t been working on a content update for it since its release back in the beginning of June 2014. Square Enix has announced that it will be releasing a new content update for the game shortly for Android users, while the iOS version of the update should be arriving now.
Deconstructeam is a game studio based in Valencia, Spain. Their project Gods Will Be Watching will be released for Android gamers soon. The art style is definitely retro, but the story line could be a page ripped from a not too distant future. The game is about the choices you make and how they impact the outcome of the game. It was created in just 72 hours during the Ludum Dare 26 game jam with ‘Minimalism’ as a theme. The implications of your in game choices will probably stick with you long after the ending credits.
