One of ZQGames’ more popular titles is their Action-RPG called Soul Guardians: Age of Midgard. This game has been popular enough that ZQGames will be releasing a spin-off called Captain Heroes next month and have released a few details along with a teaser trailer for this spin-off to check out.
For those of you who used to drop many many quarters into arcade games back in the day, you may remember a game called Super Buster Brothers (or Super Busters Bros depending on how you like to call it). If you don’t know what Super Buster Bros is, it was a fun arcade game where you control your little character who is equipped with a grappling gun of sorts. Depending on whether you have certain power-ups, you would shoot your gun and it would go from the floor of the stage you were on to the ceiling and would either stay for a few seconds, disappear immediately, or have a few other effects.

Recently we just had Square Enix release the original Tomb Raider game onto Android and now the company has announced that they are working with another developer to bring a whole new Tomb Raider game to Android called Tomb Raider Relic Run. Square Enix has teamed up with Crystal Dynamics and Simutronics for this particular Tomb Raider game.
A week ago today Sega took the first steps in removing games from both Android and iOS marketplaces that don’t meet their new standards for mobile games. While Android only saw two games disappear, those being After Burner Climax and Jet Set Radio, iOS users saw a lot more games go poof. Well a week later more games have been removed from both platforms for the same reason.

Between that and Zen Studios getting ready to launch a new Portal pinball table that they worked on in conjunction with Valve, there is a lot of non-Android specific gaming heading our way soon. Released by KLM , the Royal Dutch Airline, Jets is a game that is about navigating a brightly colored paper airplane, in an endless runner style. The various levels of this endless flyer are set in Amsterdam, with players guiding their paper airplane over the various canals and through the older sections of the city, while avoiding various large forms of transportation, such as cars, boats, and trams.
It’s Friday which means it is time for another end of the week round-up of Android games that are currently on sale right now. While this week’s list of discounted games is decent in size, with it being a long weekend we are a bit surprised the list isn’t bigger like previous years. Of course it is only Friday and there is a good chance this list could double in size before Monday.
In Nihilumbra, players assume the role of Born, a creature of darkness that is native to the realm that contains the Void and wishing to escape it. The game is a puzzle-platformer, with multiple levels on each of five different worlds, with Born using running and jumping to navigate the various stages.
Even though we have a week before the new Portal themed pinball table from Zen Studios arrives for all platforms including Android, the fine folks over at Zen Studios shared with us some Tip and Tricks that you might want to keep in mind for when you do end up playing this table once it is released.
