Release a game onto Google Play but don’t let anyone download it right away. That little scenario has happened a few times in the past with other games such as Avengers Initiative which sat on the Google Play store dormant for a couple of months, with not a single person able to download it. Well EA has released The Simpsons: Tapped Out onto Android finally but no one seems to be able to actually download it just yet.

A new free-to-play top-down shooter has arrived on Google Play called Guns 4 Hire. Imangi Studios and Disney teamed up once already to bring Temple Run: Brave to the world and apparently the two companies will once again be teaming up but this time it will be for something Oz related. When we say Oz related we don’t mean the prison show from awhile ago but instead the Wizard of Oz franchise.

Appropriately named Overkill 2, this sequel will once again come with a ridiculous amount of weapons to play around with and customize in order to properly take out your enemies with. In terms of content OUYA seems to keep on growing bigger and bigger. While not all of the games submitted during OUYA’s CREATE contest will be made into full titles for us to play, there are still plenty of them that will become full titles and there are plenty of developers outside of the CREATE contest working on games for the Android powered console.
Noodlecake Studios, creators of such games as Happy Jump and Trainyard, have released another game onto the unsuspecting masses called Zombie Road Trip. The game is straightforward and to the point. You’re in a car, and a horde of hungry zombies who can apparently run really fast are chasing you. I mean really fast.
Refresh Creations has released Super Grid Run, a quick and simple game which involves you navigating a cube through endless corridors of neon perils and pickups, onto the Google Play Store. Controls are simple, tap to move your floating neon cube and dodge retro looking neon walls for as long as you can.
Madfinger Games has decided to randomly put a couple of their games on sale for a limited time. Depending on whether you like hacking your enemies to death with a sword or shooting them in the face (or both), you’ll want to take advantage of this sale which has both Shadowgun and Samurai II: Vengeance on sale for a limited time.
A couple of weeks ago Namco once again got all nostalgic on us with the release of a new game that many of us are familiar with… Galaga. As one of the earliest space-themed arcade shooters, many of us drop plenty of quarters into them in the hope of getting the high score on that particular machine. One of the best features was when you were able to use two ships at once. Ahhh the memories…
