We have talked about Peter Molyneux’s upcoming virtual piñata game coming in September a few times already, mostly because of the humor we find behind the entire thing. As we reported last week, the game was delayed from its August 22nd release date to sometime in September due to NASA having an issue with the game’s name being Curiosity. Well Mr. Molyneux has come up with a new name, not very original, but still somewhat new.
If you are into continuous running games but happen to be looking for something a little different, developers going by the name of Tvee have released a side-scrolling one called Escape From Rikon. Featuring a more cartoon style of visuals, this game is pretty much what you expect it to be, just in side-scrolling format.
Alawar Entertainment has decided to release a new city building sim but with a wild west flare to it called The Golden Years: Way Out West. In this game you will have a lot of the standard actions to do including building structures and gathering resources, all of which takes place in the wild west.
While everyone is waiting for Wild Blood to be released, Gameloft has dropped another game onto the Google Play store called Cosmic Colony. This particular game is an RTS sim game where you will be building up your colony in space and defending it against alien threats.
Yesterday we talked about the next Minecraft: Pocket Edition update, labeled as being version 0.4.0, and that it would bring with it Creepers and Chests to the game. Shortly after posting this, we found out that there is a lot more to the upcoming update than just those two things.
By now you should be relatively familiar with Peter Molyneux’s upcoming experimental social game that was delayed till September for release instead of being launched yesterday. Dubbed ‘Curiosity’, essentially you tap on the block, along with every other player, in order to chip away at it. The person who lands the final tap will be the only person to see what is actually inside the cube.

For those of you eagerly awaiting the next update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and what it may or may not bring, we now know a couple of things that it will come with. The next update will be labeled as 0.4.0 and will come with a couple of major items, most notably the possibly most hated creature in the game, The Creeper.
N3V Games and their slightly scaled down version of their Trainz Simulator game for phones, called Trainz Driver, will soon be getting an update that will bring with it a whole new category of trains into the mix for you to drive. While the full game features landscape modeling and customizable track lay-outs, that is only for tablets.
FarSight Studios has opened up another Kickstarter campaign in order to bring the Star Trek: The Next Generation pinball table to their pinball platform which is available on numerous gaming platforms including Android. Recently they had a successful campaign to bring the Twilight Zone table over and the extra money that campaign raised is being put towards this one.
