As we previously reported on here, Total War Battles: Kingdom is a new Real-Time Strategy game coming to Android. Set during the Middle Ages, players will over see the growth of their own kingdom, Players will have to oversee multiple facets of their territory, ranging from its economy, its population growth, building towns and castles, and even expanding its borders.
tinyBuild’s rather popular game Punch Club only recently made it onto mobile devices, while PC gamers have had the pleasure of playing this game for a little bit longer, but not by much. Well apparently this game has done rather good for itself since its release, breaking the $2 million in total sale mark with sales across all platforms.
Jagex already has a couple of RuneScape games in the works right now, with one being a mobile version of their original MMORPG, and the other currently in closed beta testing called Chronicle: RuneScape Legends. Now there is another title Jagex is working on called RuneScape: Idle Adventures.
You may or may not remember back in August of last year when we reported on Google making the official announcement that they would be using Khronos’ Vulkan platform for Android developers to use its low-overhead graphical APIs. In a nutshell this is supposed to improve performance by providing developers more direct access to the GPU itself. Etter Studios has announced today that their award-winning collaborative physics game Dreii will finally be launching onto multiple platforms next month. This particular game is actually pretty interesting because you have the option to team up with other players in real-time in order to try and help each other solve the stage you’re on and progress through the game.
Back in November of last year, we reported on a new eSports game called Crisis Action that would be getting a Western release on Android soon. Well it looks like that release is nearing as the developers have announced the first beta testing phase for Crisis Action on Android.
Butterscotch Shenanigans has announced the official release date for their highly anticipated Crashlands game for mobile platforms. This game, which has been in the works for over 2 years now, will finally be getting released next month. That means there is still a bit of a wait left, but at least there is a definitive end to it.
Developers going by the name of Cats Who Play, which is an entertaining name in itself, has announced that their multi-platform tactical strategy game called HTPD: Force of Law will be launching onto Android, PC, Linux, and iOS soon. The HTPD part of the game’s name stands for High Town Police Department.
Snail Games recently held some limited closed beta testing for their upcoming Age of Wushu Dynasty mobile MMORPG. Today though the company has decided to release the game in a regional cross-platform soft launch for Age of Wushu Dynasty over in Canada. So far though, this is the only region to get the soft launch right now.
