DeNA has published a new character collecting RPG onto Android this morning called Fantasica: Bloodlines. This is actually a spin-off of the original Fantasica game that was released not too long ago. This is actually a bit of a hybrid title, sporting card and character collecting, mixed with an RPG title.
DeNA has been working on a new TCG title called Deckstorm for a bit now and as of this morning the company has opened up pre-registration for anyone interested in signing up ahead of time for this game. Like most pre-registrations, signing up for Deckstorm ahead of launch will have you receiving a reward for in-game currency when Deckstorm actually launches.
DeNA has released their newest title onto Android which is called Monster Builder. Just like the name suggests, players will be given their own ‘base’ of sorts, where they are able to create their own creatures. These creatures each have their own elemental alignment, and some of the stronger main creatures also have their own unique abilities and passive ability.
DeNA has announced a new game coming to Android soon called Monster Builder which, as the name suggests, is all about collecting and building up various monsters. This does fall into the collectible RPG genre we have sort of made up to classify these types of games. However, there’s a bit of a Pokemon theme to this one as well, with the whole collecting monsters part.
Whether or not you consider Nintendo’s first offering for mobile users an actual game, the company has come out today to confirm when Miitomo would be landing on mobile devices. Originally announced in the Fall of last year, Miitomo is Nintendo’s first of five planned releases for mobile users, all of which will be published by DeNA after the two companies formed a partnership last year.
Final Fantasy: Record Keeper had received a pretty massive update recently which brought some big changes to parts of the game as well as holiday goodies to all of it. Today Square Enix and DeNA have decided to start giving away goodies in order to celebrate the release of the update.
An RPG released by DeNA, Blood Brothers 2 to be specific, is about to receive a massive update. For those unfamiliar, the Blood Brothers franchise is an RPG that’s set in the world of Arnashia, and this particular game is set around a century after the vampire Galbraith has been defeated. With the ensuing peace beginning to crumble, the world is on the brink of Chaos.
A lot of people have been eagerly waiting to see what Nintendo will release onto mobile platforms since the announcement of the company’s partnership with DeNA. So far Nintendo has confirmed that they will be releasing five games onto mobile platforms between now and April 2017. While Nintendo has been pretty quite about what franchises will come to mobile, and what those games will be, we do know that they are involved in the upcoming Pokemon GO game. However, it isn’t confirmed as to whether or not that game is part of their upcoming five titles they plan to release.
It seems like today is a bit of mix of new releases and a lot of updates for existing Android games, instead of the usual amount of strictly Android game releases on Thursday. Another game has received a content update today, this time it is DeNA’s RPG title Blood Brothers 2.
It looks like the live streaming platforms wars may be starting to heat up. Right now there is Twitch, the newly launched YouTube Gaming, MobCrush (currently in beta for iOS, coming to Android soon), and now there is Mirrativ from DeNA (beta on Android, coming soon to iOS). Mirrativ is now considered in open beta although there are certainly times that streaming is allowed right now. When it fully launched though, you will be able to stream whenever you want.
