Since the announcement of a new socially conscience version of Angry Birds was heading our way, there hasn’t been too much information released since then. Today, however, we have news that Angry Birds Stella will be arriving some time this Fall and we also have a screenshot of an actual level from the game.

Developers going by the name of Eltechs who have released a port of DOOM and Heretic onto Android along with the PC game emulator called ExaGear Strategies have updated their emulator to include support for three additional games today. About a week ago we reported on a sort of demo game from Epic which was released onto Google Play to show the flexibility of their Unreal Engine 4 in regards to mobile game development. Tappy Bird was the full demonstration game that they released and while it may not have been a massive buffet of visual eye candy, it did do the trick in some ways to show that you don’t need to be a massively experienced programmer to use Unreal Engine 4.
Remember the Samsung VR headset that we wrote about a week ago? Gizmodo is now reporting that the Korean tech giant has teamed up with Oculus VR in the production of their virtual reality, android powered headset.
Independent Game Dev Terry Cavanagh of distractionware is bringing two of his games, VVVVVV and Super Hexagon to the Android game console Ouya. Super Hexagon is slated for a release next Tuesday, July 3rd, with no date given for VVVVVV. Super Hexagon has players controlling a triangle through a hexagon without hitting the walls.
Watch Dogs is getting a companion App that will allow players to interact with the upcoming title. This news keeps up with the current trend where a lot of major game releases that are coming up for other platforms are getting companion apps that players can use and interact with while playing the matching game.
Upcoming Android Title Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville is Now Available Through Steam Early Access
Although there is no date yet for its Android release, Rebuild: Gangs of Deadsville is now available in its beta form through Steam Early Access. The game is centered around rebuilding society after surviving a zombie apocalypse. With a small group of survivors you take back blocks of a city, while trying to survive in a zombie-filled world.
After Gameloft’s extensive live stream of the singleplayer campaign of the new Modern Combat: Blackout, we now have some new information and clarification about many of the game’s features and changes, along with some things to compare with previous games in the series.
If reports are to be believed, Samsung is working on its own Virtual Reality headset, designed to work with its future, not-yet-announced flagship phones, phablets and tablets. According to Engadget, who quotes “sources close to Samsung” the device is set to be revealed later this year and hopes to beat both Sony and Oculus to the market, with a lower price to boot.
