A few days ago the kid’s MMO Club Penguin was released for Android on Google Play. When I was younger I had played it a lot back when the game was new on web browsers around 2006, I’m older now but I can still see how Club Penguin has been able to maintain a fun family friendly world for children to play in.

Disney’s penguin-centric children’s MMO Club Penguin is now available for Android devices. The game can be played for free but membership is required to access all features.
Disney has a new movie hitting theaters in a few days (November 7th, 2014 in case you don’t know) but instead of releasing their movie tie-in game for Big Hero 6 on the same day as the movie’s release, Disney has decided to launch it a few days early. However this may not be the type of movie tie-in game you thought it would be.
Disney Interactive’s official Tumblr page revealed the logo for an upcoming Star Wars mobile game, includes Android, called Star Wars Commander. Not much information was given on the game other than that it is a strategy game consisting of elements from the Star Wars universe; as in characters, locations, and technology. The game is being released in limited early access on Android along with iOS in “select international markets” but will release worldwide sometime this summer.
The mouse of wonder returns in an HD reimagining of the Sega Genesis masterpiece, The Castle of Illusion. Players take control of Mickey Mouse, who is on a quest to save his stalwart companion, Minnie Mouse, from the nefarious witch Mizrabel. The game boasts stunning visuals, five magical worlds to explore, hidden challenges and unlockable classic costumes for Mickey.
Disney has announced over Twitter that they are currently working on a new game called Star Wars: Assault Team. Judging from the lone screenshot and the few details about this game released, it looks like it will be another TCG title that will be released onto all mobile platforms including Android.
Disney is bringing the Valentine’s Day love to five of their games on Android with new content themed around the upcoming holiday. Some of this Valentine’s Day love comes in the form of new content while other holiday goodness comes in the form of discounts in-game.
Last month we talked about three games that were currently doing a location-based soft launch that people in the areas it was being hosted in should check out. One of those games was a collaboration between Disney/LucastArts and Nimblebit called Star Wars: Tiny Death Star. Well this game has finally made its way to Android and is now available for download.
Disney has released a second game onto Google Play today but this one is more of a mini-game based off of the Monster University movie from Pixar. This little running game actually has ten different stages for you to race through with the goal being to chase down and catch your rival school’s mascot named Archie and tire him out.
A couple of days ago we mentioned that Disney had a new installment into their “Where’s My” franchise of games heading our way called Where’s My Mickey? While the trailer said the game was already available for download, it actually wasn’t as we speculated that it would be available today alongside the iOS release and sure enough here it is.
