One of the more awesome Android phones at CES 2011 was the Optimus 2X from LG who came out strong this year at the show. This is LG’s first dual-core Android phone sporting a Tegra 2 chip inside and playing around with it, you can certainly see/feel the difference a Tager 2 makes in your phone.
This Acer prototype tablet just keeps popping up everywhere it seems at CES regardless of what booth we go to. Don’t get me wrong, I love playing with it, especially when it concerns 3D games. Snooping around the Verizon booth we spotted it again and once taking a closer look at it, we spotted the Asphalt 6 icon.
One of the games we mentioned in our previous article about the new upcoming nVidia Tegra Zone marketplace was Galaxy of Fire 2 by Fishlabs. This is a 3D sim space game that takes full advantage of the Tegra 2 chip to really boost the graphics and gameplay to console-like status. This is also the game with that nifty action photo feature.
This is a very prototype Android tablet and we were told that even the cosmetics on the body and possibly even the body shape itself will change before the production release. It will be running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) and it will be a dual-core Android tablet thanks to the Tegra 2 chip inside.
LG officially announces the LG Optimus 2X dual-core Android phone, officially the first Tegra 2 Android phone
After many sites have fondled the LG ‘Star’ and previewed it, LG has released a press release officially announcing their dual-core Android phone. Anyone surprised it is the day before the Nexus S launch? No? Me neither. Anyways, this bad boy of a phone is nothing to turn your nose up at either with it’s dual-core Tegra 2 chip.
A couple of days ago some specs were leaked out about the upcoming Motorola dual-core tablet, dubbed the Everest. Well new information has come to light regarding this great looking tablet along with the confirmation of specs previously leaked out. Also Mr. Blurry Cam decided to release some more photos of the Motorola tablets.
Let the leaks begin! This time with the Motorola dual-core Android tablet, the specs and a screenshot of Honeycomb has been leaked out by some guy in Taiwan. While we can get all excited about the specs and Honeycomb, let’s just remember to take everything with a grain of salt, especially when we get Mr. Blurry Cam involved.
It seems as though we should start calling every Monday in the Android community “Device Monday” or at least just for today. We just got a tip on Twitter from our friend Junde regarding the upcoming Meizu M9 and M9II phones, slated for release in China. Why are we reporting about phones in China? Android has no borders!
