A few days after the release of some big titles by EA Mobile onto the Android Market including the much awaited Need for Speed: Shift, they have put all four of their games on sale for $0.99! This is a great time to go get these games, especially NFS:S if you’ve been waiting for it for all this time to actually become available.

Seems EA Mobile has another title they are planning to release onto the Android Market this holiday season. First it was the much anticipated Need for Speed: Shift followed by The Sims 3. Both games were exclusive on certain Android devices until last week when they landed on the Market. Next seems to be Monopoly.
Well great news for everyone who has wanted Need for Speed: Shift by EA Mobile but has not had it available to them. You can now go to the Android Market and buy the game! After a very long time, at least it seems that way, of being exclusive only to certain phones such as the Droid 2, EA Mobile has finally put NFS: Shift onto the market.
In our last post regarding the Madden 2011 game by EA Mobile, we mentioned it was coming in an update to the Droid X. The version within the update is, indeed, a demo version which we figured it would be. Upgrading to the full version will set you back $9.99 which really isn’t bad considering the quality of the game.
This isn’t entirely new news nor is it anything groundbreaking since EA has been involved with deploying some of their games onto the Android platform so not a huge need to post about it right away. In case you haven’t read this already on one of the many other Android sites reporting on this bit of info, it seems EA is ready to make a strong solid commitment to Android.
Real PC and console games on mobile devices are a kind of holy grail of gaming. And, like the grail, they are probably just fantasy and will never truly materialize. For now, we have to be happy with pretty versions of our favorites that offer abbreviated feature sets and gameplay ported over from their PC and console counterparts. This is what The Sims 3 offers in spades.
A trend is happening. This trend is about exclusive content for some phones. We’ve seen it with the EVO launch and the new Need For Speed game which, as far as I know, never actually got released. Then there was the new DiCaprio Inception Movie exclusive game for the Verizon Droid and Droid Incredible recently. Now there is another game exclusive to T-Mobile’s Samsung Vibrant.
EA Mobile, not known for their support of Android due to their lack of games released onto the market as well as the quality of the games, aims to turn that around with their newest release. FIFA 10 just landed on the Android market and brings with it a huge amount of customization for teams and your own player as well as 3D graphics and touchscreen controls.
