Ketchapp has a knack for working with extremely talented game designers. Their latest collaboration with Bento Studios out of Lyon, France, is another successful pairing in my opinion. After firing up the game Escape, you are immediately thrust into an achingly beautiful world. Unfortunately, you have to pilot your rocket through perilous environments. In the midst of such beauty, will be death and destruction… over and over again.
Seville, Spain is the spot on the globe where the headquarters of Genera Games calls home. They have additional offices/studios around the world in Boston, Romania and Los Angeles. They recently released an exciting action-filled endless runner called Ramboat. It is a blast to play, and has plenty of missions to conquer. Think of Halfbrick Studios’ Jetpack Joyride, and you will have an idea of just how fun this game is to play.
A couple of days ago we reported on Sonic Dash and the fact that the game has broken the 100 million downloads mark, which is the total amount of downloads across all platforms. At that time there was mention of a special event that would be taking place to celebrate this feat, and that there would be special guests showing up. However those special guest were not announced and wouldn’t be until today. So who are they? Well it is the Angry Birds.
Bob Games is based in Armenia, Columbia, and they make highly-imaginative games. Their latest project is a runner/platforming game that has a character that everyone has come in contact with at some point or another… their Postman. They have taken an extremely important job, and set it in a game world fraught with action, peril and adventure. Run Postman Run is the next game from Bob Games, and it looks like it will be a fun and colorful adventure starring your postman.
Cherrypick has released a successor to their popular game called Touchdown Hero today. This new game is called Must Deliver and it is all about curing the zombie apocalypse. While other games have people surviving as long as they can until a cure is found, this game has the cure already made, it just needs to actually get delivered safely to as many survivors as possible.

You may or may not have heard of NetEase. If you haven’t, this is the company that managed to bring World of Warcraft and Hearthstone to China. They are a big company in other words and they are about to get even bigger as they have announced that they have opened their first headquarters in the West, being here in the US, and that their initial focus will actually be on mobile platforms.
Everyone is pretty familiar with Ubisoft Entertainment. When they release a mobile game, depending upon its content, people tend to take notice. This week, Android gamers have an opportunity to experience Monkey King Escape. The game was developed by Ubisoft’s Chinese studio, Ubisoft Chengdu. They are a small development team that has chosen to take on the popular legend of the Monkey King.
In terms of brand cross-overs, franchises like Angry Birds and Puzzle & Dragons tend to do a lot of them. While this may get played out after awhile, especially with Angry Birds, once in awhile a cross-over does happen that is just plain cool and Temple Run 2 has started one that is just that. Enter the Temple (see what we did there?) with Bruce Lee!
