From the makers of Dead Space comes the new Mass Effect game for Android that we have been talking about for the last little while. EA has just released Mass Effects Infiltrator onto the Google Play store which is not only a mobile exclusive part of the Mass Effect storyline but also ties into the other Mass Effect games as well.
We predicted that once Gameloft had officially announced N.O.V.A. 3 for Android and iOS that we would be fed plenty of preview trailers to drool over while we wait for the game to be released. Indeed that seems to be happening as Gameloft has released a third preview trailer for N.O.V.A. 3.
We’re right there with you, patiently waiting (and praying for compatibility) for Gameloft’s latest romp in their space themed FPS, N.O.V.A. 3. Over the weekend the French company has teased its fans with new footage along side a visual walkthrough with executive producer Arnaud Bonnard. He details the graphical changes in this sequel. While we wait for the release of the actual game you can be sure that Gameloft will be feeding us a healthy dose of preview videos. This is something they like to do with their bigger releases which N.O.V.A 3 will definitely be. In this new trailer though we get to see how multiplayer gameplay unfolds.
Let’s be honest, Doom isn’t just a legend amongst players nowadays, It’s more of a lifestyle. It defined the term FPS back in the 90’s, and keeps being played to this very day. Yesterday we talked about Gameloft who had begun teasing their next blockbuster hit game through an app on Facebook where users could clear pixels off of a black image, slowly revealing exclusive art from whatever game it was supposed to be. A lot of people guessed it would be N.O.V.A 3 and indeed it looks like they are correct.
Over on the official Gameloft Facebook page, the company has started teasing what they are calling their next ‘blockbuster’ game that will be arriving on iOS and Android soon. Gameloft is teasing their fans in a rather unique way though, by having all of us removing pixels from a black image which will eventually reveal exclusive art from the upcoming game and, in turn, letting us know what the game actually is.
Castelao Pictures has unleashed a horror game based on the popular Spanish flick “Rec” (short for record). If you’re unfamiliar with the name you may have heard of “Quarantine”. The movie was adapted on the U.S. shores to appeal to U.S market and received mixed reviews. Using a first person view you’ll follow along the story of the the original movie along with it’s sequel.
We get interesting things in the mail once in awhile and yesterday we got the non-Xperia Play copy of EA’s Battlefield Bad Company 2 game which has been available for the Xperia Play for some time now but exclusively for the Xperia Play. Well it looks like an official version for all other Android devices may be on the way.
For the developers who brought over the official Duke Nukem 3D port to Android, Machineworks Northwest has dropped another PC FPS game onto Android today and this time it comes in the form of Painkiller: Purgatory HD, a mobile addition to the Painkiller PC series which was voted best FPS in the early 2000’s by PC Games.
