Last week Android’s first emulator for the Playstation got yanked off the Android Market due to content policy violations. The developer, ZodTTD, was unsure at the time as to what route he would go now that it was banned from the Android Market. It seems he has made his decision and it is now available for free.
Well here is some interesting information after doing a bit of digging that we came up with. Working on a tip from a reader, there is a second game available on the Amazon App Store that is free today called Airport Mania: First Flight. What is even more interesting than that is who it is published by: Amazon Digital Services Inc.
Just in time for Opening Day for Major League Baseball, Com2uS has just released their latest installment of their Baseball series which is also it’s first release for Android, in 9 Innings: Pro Baseball 2011! Recently GetJar raised $11 million in funding and along with this comes news of their business model being tweaked. Some of the money will be put into expanding the company with new offices and business infrastructure. One of the major changes will be coming in the form of paid applications for Android and, more specifically, a big push for paid game downloads.
Our multi-game giveaway week has come to a close finally and it was a huge success! A lot of people won prizes and while this giveaway is over, we are already gearing up to announce our new one coming up shortly! If you haven’t yet had the chance to play Pocket Empires, developed by Pocket Play, now is a good time to go grab it off the market after the recent updates. These include another server opening up as well as unit balancing issues being worked out. Before the update in regards to unit balancing, archers were rather over-powered but that has changed now.

I miss the days of school where we made paper airplanes and threw them in class while waiting for it to start. It would have been nice to just have this game instead and would have avoided some of the trouble I got into when I was at school. My Paper Plane is a 3D flight simulator style game where you control a little paper airplane.
