Back in March of last year we talked about a WipeOut-style futuristic racing game heading our way later that year called Flashout 3D from Jujubee. Well the April release date came and went, along with many other months after that, with no game being released. Almost a year later, Flashout 3D has finally made its appearance onto the Google Play store.

Yesterday, as probably most of you are aware of, Sony held their Playstation event where the company announced their next console, the Playstation 4. The press conference, which seemed to last forever, also featured a lot of information on mobile aspects that the console will bring with its release. While most of it was focused on the PS Vita, there was some interesting news regarding Android smartphones and tablets as well.
Back in mid-January of this year we mentioned a few games had landed on the Japanese Google Play store from Kairosoft. One of those games was called Stakes Ranch G1 which was the actual translation of the title. Well it might have taken a bit longer than we had originally though but that game is now available on Google Play for everyone under it’s official English name called Pocket Stables.
So there are a few games currently on sale right now over on Google Play that some of you, our readers, might want to get your hands on. There is only a few titles right now on sale but luckily some of them are actually pretty solid games for a pretty good price.

Sony is holding their event and with it comes the likely announcement of their next console, the Playstation 4. We also know that there are rumors that the Playstation 4 could offer up various features that will be remotely controlled through your smartphone and tablet which isn’t really much of a surprise considering their recent push of Playstation Mobile. It seems like Square Enix wants to dip their toes in the freemium waters and have launched a new version of their tower defense game Crystal Defenders. This new version, officially called Crystal Defenders Lite, is exactly like the original game except that it uses a pay-per-stage business model for those of you who don’t want to spend the $6.99 upfront for the full game.
Jetpack Jinx is a game that we’re all familiar with. You control your cute little character as it jumps up, and up, and up and try to keep it going until he simply cannot go up anymore. The gems you collect as you rise keep you going like a sort of perpetual motion machine, but the fun often turns into frustration. Is it fun to attempt to best your own score by continually making your character jump higher and higher? Sure, in a primitive sort of way, sort of like playing with jacks or climbing a tree. The problem is that, thanks to today’s bloated market, I have no idea if this game was made for children or just for incredibly stoned adults.
