Remember the other week when we published a video regarding leaked video footage of a Destiny-style game on a tablet? Well we finally get to tell you what game that is, and all about it, and we have even had some hands-on time with a very early build back during GDC 2016. So what game is this? It is called Shadowgun Legends, and it isn’t just a Destiny-style game, it is actually an MMORPG FPS title for mobile devices.
We have reported on Madfinger Games’ next big release called Unkilled a few times already, keeping an eye on the game’s development. We’ve even gone hands-on with a very early build earlier this year. However at Gamescom we were able to get more hands-on time with a much more complete build of Unkilled.
Just before the start of Gamescom this year Vivid Games announced the official sequel to their Real Boxing game for mobile called Real Boxing 2. Since then we had the opportunity to meet up with Vivid Games to check out Real Boxing 2 and to learn more about what all will come with the game.
So last month it was officially announced that the Grand Tournament would be the next expansion for Blizzard’s popular Hearthstone game. As you may already know, we are at Gamescom 2015 this week and are running around like little mad men trying to check out everything. Actually there’s just one of us there, Michel, and we may never see him again after this… poor guy. In all seriousness though, he’s been running around grabbing everything he can while there, fondling multiple games, and reporting back to us. One of those games was the recently announced Torchlight Mobile from Perfect World.
Gamescom 2015 has officially begun this week and there is plenty of mobile gaming news heading our way all week. While we will be scouring the show floor for all things related to Android gaming, we also have plenty of meetings set up and one of those meetings is with Vivid Games to get some hands-on time with Real Boxing 2. However the company has released the first teaser trailer for their game already.
Madfinger Games out of the Czech Republic never ceases to amaze me. Just when you think you have seen what the studio is capable of, they make a ninety degree turn, boldly blazing down a different path. We all know Madfinger Games for creating stunning graphics and compelling action in their games. Their soon to be released game Monzo, is a far cry from Samurai Vengeance, Shadowgun or the Dead Trigger series. Monzo is based on virtual model kits that you select, build, paint and share with your friends. Guess what? It looks thoroughly fascinating.
During Gamescom 2013 Revolution Software decided to release the first trailer for the next installment into the Broken Sword series of point-and-click adventure games. This is the fifth installment in the franchise and this also happens to be the first new game for Broken Sword in about six years.
The upcoming Tom Clancy’s The Division for multiple platforms (Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC) just got a little bit more interesting, at least for potential players who also happen to own a smartphone or tablet. That is because The Division will also allow for companion gaming from a mobile device.
