In our previous post below about a game called SheepRun, we mentioned that it has MoboSquare integrated into it. Not having heard of MoboSquare, we decided to look into it. What we found was actually pretty interesting. Having never been a fan of check-in services like Foursquare personally, MoboSquare is basically Foursquare… for apps and games.
Mix physics gameplay, Lemmings style gaming, and an Angry Birds-like user interface elements and what do you get? SheepRun! Developed by the curiously named FingerFantasy, SheepRun looks like it would have been developed by Rovio due to the user interface; however, similarities end there in this unique game.
Sifting through the Android Market as I usually do in the mornings, looking for new games to try out, I noticed one called Androminion. At first I wasn’t going to take a look at it but for whatever reason I decided otherwise. Developed by Ankur Mehta, Androminion is the Android version of the award winning strategy card game, Dominion.
A little over three years ago Android came to public light and I went and got myself a G1. Seems like Stonetrip’s ShiVa3D Engine is being boosted yet again even after a recent update with a slew of new features. Stonetrip and Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) have announced a partnership regarding game development on mobile platforms that are powered by the OMAP 3 platform.
More and more top quality games seem to be making the jump to Android lately and all of us couldn’t be happier. Today is no different as award winning game (Best Mobile Game of Swedish Game Awards 2010) Phoenix Spirit is coming to Android. Developered by Spearhead Entertainment, this game combines shooter style gaming with a platformer.
A great contagion of purpleness has overtaken the animal kingdom in this challenging, turn-based strategy, and it’s your job to fix it. Pick the right furries for the job, and you’ll restore order in no time. Everlands is a relatively deep, turn-based strategy game in which you are tasked with fighting the great purple legions of corrupted forest animals.
“ScratchDown is a casual-style scratch & guess game available for the Android Market. It is fun and immediately accessible to players of all ages.”- MDP Mobile. This simple description does a decent job of summing up just what kind of game ScratchDown is. It also gives insight to the type of players who may be interested.
