Yesterday Google posted a video about a few games they made to entice developers to make more games for their Google Glass device. However the wearable technology has plenty of hurdles that are starting to creep up and the newest ones are states here in the USA banned the device for a few reasons.

This rumor has been floating around since the later part of 2013 but apparently there is a bit more validity to it now. According to VG24/7, Amazon will be launching their Android game console sometime this year and will be priced somewhere below the $300 mark. That price point isn’t surprising considering Amazon likes to try and make their Android-based devices priced as low as possible.
In the world of Android devices it usually takes no time at all for a new device to get rooted. When it comes to Android consoles, this is also true and the Mad Catz MOJO game console is the newest one to be added to the list of rooted game consoles. What’s even better is that Mad Catz fully supports whether or not you want to root you console.
The gaming themed Android tablet Wikipad has had a new OTA update pushed out to it today. This update brings a crisp new version of Android to the tablet, that being Android 4.2, as well as some other much needed features including control mapping. Wikipad has also announced a new content partner which comes in the form of WildTangent.
So as we mentioned yesterday over our social medial channels, we just received one of the first Android powered MOJO game consoles sent out for review by Mad Catz. As we also stated, we were going to do an unboxing so you can all see what you can expect to find when you open up the packaging for the MOJO game console.
So Nvidia announced their next chipset at CES 2014 called the K1 (formerly Tegra 5) and even though it is pretty early in the game for this new chipset, it has already been benchmarked in its current state of development and the results are already looking pretty damn good.
Nvidia has been sticking their chips in Tesla cars and bringing them to CES for a couple of years now. Other companies have dabbled in similar projects as well. Google, however, has gone ahead and created the Open Automotive Alliance and announced its existence today. Similar to the Open Handset Alliances, the Open Automotive Alliance (or OAA for short) is a partnership between Google and a variety of car manufacturers where they will be bringing Android to cars, mostly as an in-car info-tainment service.
Last night Nvidia held their CES 2014 press conference and as we mentioned in our lead-up article to this event, Nvidia was going to be bringing some mobile gaming news to the stage. As it turns out the company did just that with the announcement of the Tegra K1 chipset, or as they are calling it, a super chip.
Wikipad has decided to branch out in the gaming peripheral industry by announcing their newest product which is called the Gamevice. This particular gaming peripheral is pretty much as the name suggests – a detachable game controller that Android gamers can use with their Android devices.
That magical time every year in January where the Consumer Electronics Show kicks off is almost upon us once again. Of course we will be there sifting through everything that we can find related to Android gaming. Nvidia will be hosting an invite-only press conference this Sunday, January 5th, 2014, the company will be showing off new innovations in gaming along with new advancements in their mobile Tegra technology.
