It’s Friday which means it is time for another round-up of all the Android games currently on sale over on Google Play. While there isn’t a whole lot special with this upcoming weekend, there seems to be a lot of games on sale right now, with a lot of the titles being discounted are more along the lines of being franchises, such as a number of LEGO games or Bridge Constructor titles.

A new LEGO game will be arriving soon for Android devices called LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens. We originally touched on this game coming to Nvidia Shield devices about a week ago, and it appears that all Android users with newer devices will also be able to play this game.
Short of living completely off the grid, and away from civilization, it’s pretty hard to miss the recent popularity explosion of LEGO, especially in movies. And is often the case nowadays, movies have video game adaptations. With LEGO now following suit with their 2014 The Lego Movie, it now has a mobile video game adaptation which is now available on Google Play.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and Universal Brand Development have teamed up to bring Lego Jurassic World to the Google Play Store. Lego Jurassic World combines the wonder, adventure and dinosaurs of all four Jurassic Park films into one pocket-sized experience.
Right now there is a fan suggestion to the LEGO company about a new set of LEGOs that would be themed around ustwo’s highly popular mobile game Monument Valley. This wouldn’t be the first time LEGO made a set based off of a video game, with one of the more recent ones being a series themed off of Minecraft.
Nvidia, maker of a the Shield Android TV unit, Shield tablet, and the Shield Portable, also offer games that take direct advantage of their hardware, either linking to Google Play, or offering them through their own through streaming service called GeForce Now. With the latter, any purchase of premium priced games from there is also accompanied by a Steam code, for offline play. Through the end of this month, there’s a small group of games that NVidia has placed on sale.
Fans of the LEGO world have a new game to sink their time into called LEGO The Lord of the Rings. Published by Warner Bros, this game follows the whole Lord of the Rings trilogy, all of which has been reimagined with plenty of humor and all the other goodies you would fine in a LEGO title.
LEGO Batman: Beyond Gotham is coming to mobile devices, including Android this summer.
LEGO has announced today that their upcoming LEGO Minifigures Online game will be featuring full cross-platform support, which includes mobile devices, and will be officially arriving next week. That means players on all platforms (PC, Mac, Linux, iOS, and Android) will be sharing the same persistent online world with people on different platforms at the same time.
