For those of you who have been following us for any decent amount of time may have seen us talk about Robotoki, a game development studio created by Ex-Infinity Ward employee Robert Bowling. We have also talked about their first game that they have announced called Human Element, a zombie apocalypse game that is certainly different than your standard zombie game.
So we are getting into the Olympic spirit of things and do to this we have teamed up with 2012torch.com where you can relay the Olympic torch, virtually of course, by using your Android phone or tablet and passing the torch onto friends in the hopes of getting it all the way to London.
Fans of location-based games have another title to try out coming your way soon. Dead Drop is a location-based spy game developed by two brothers that will actually be bringing something a little new to the table when it comes to location-based games.
Well this is some gaming news on a different level. PerBlue, the developers of the location-based MMORPG for mobile called Parallel Kingdom, is allowing players to buy two special hats using food from in-game which will then be used to buy actual meals for those families in need this Thanksgiving.
There is a new game coming soon to Android that will let you live out your dreams of being a spy in real life, to a certain extent anyways. Agent Artemis, developed by The Unlikely Contender, is a location-based spy game where that uses the city you are in as the location of the game.
Currently on the Android Market we have a few really good location-based MMORPG titles to play if you enjoy that sort of game. Red Robot, however, has brought another one to Android called Life Is Crime which, as you may have guessed from the title, is a crime game instead of a zombie or fantasy one.
In what is probably the strangest yet one of the more entertaining mash-ups of gaming genres out for… well any platform, DJ Rivals brings the world of DJ battles to Android and shoves it in a world of location-based RPG. Wrap some interesting cartoon-like graphics around this melting pot of gaming genres and it gets pretty interesting.
