Activision reveals a new companion app for their Skylander franchise called the Skylander Creator

Skylanders fans have a couple of new goodies to look forward to with more expansion to the franchise heading our way soon. While the next Skylanders game that was announced (called Skylanders Imaginators) is for consoles, mobile gamers and fans are not being left behind either. Activision has revealed that Skylanders Imaginators will be getting a companion app called Skylanders Creator.

11-bit Studio’s This War Of Mine’s upcoming physical board game version now has its Kickstarter campaign live

Usually we see board games getting a digital version released onto mobile devices (and other platforms). However, on the flip side of things, 11-bit studio’s This War Of Mine game will be getting a physical board game version made. What’s even more interesting is the fact that 11-bit Studio promises that it’ll be just as intense as the video game. While news of the board game being made has been known for a little bit now, just to make everything official, the Kickstarter campaign for it has launched this morning.

Google increases the max pricing limit for apps and games on Google Play

Up until today anyone who publishes an Android game or application onto Google Play had a limit as to how high of a price they could charge. If you’ve been using Android since it was released, you may remember a long time ago a few applications popping up that were ridiculously priced, ranging from $99-$200. We’re not sure what happened to those but we do know the average pricing of apps and games on Google Play is between $0-$5, with a decent amount being $5+ but rarely over $10. Square Enix, of course, is one of those exceptions to the rule, with games regularly priced at $10-$15.
