eSports has been growing since its inception, and will continue to grow for some time to come as well. In fact the mobile eSports leagues are just starting to really materialize and will most likely grow to be as big as PC/console eSports leagues. Today eSport just got a little bigger with the announcement of EA’s own eSports initiative called their Competitive Gaming Division.
Two days ago we reported on Telltale Games’ upcoming Episode 4 for their Minecraft: Story Mode series. We originally had the name for this episode pegged at “Order Up!” but that’s actually the name for Episode 5, the finale. The name for this episode is called “A Block and a Hard Place” and actually ends the Wither Storm part of the storyline.
The North American Autumn finals for the rather popular mobile MOBA title Vainglory took place last weekend, with a prize pool for the season of over $200,000 up for grabs. Taking place at the eSports Arena in Santa Ana, California, Liberation X battled through three days of matches, ending up in a showdown on the final day against Nemesis Hydra. Eventually Liberation X would defeat Nemesis Hydra and take home a cool $10,000.
Scopely and Telltale Games are teaming up for a limited time event which will be revolving around some of the characters from The Walking Dead Season 1 series from Telltale Games. Some characters involved include Kenny, Lee, and Clementine, all of which will have new storylines for players to check out.
Google appears to be quite committed to making YouTube Gaming good and today the company has rolled out version 1.2. This update brings with it all kinds of improvements to the service itself, as well as to some of the Android-specific features as well, especially regarding mobile device live game streaming.

Released by Animation Arts and Deep Silver FISHLABS, Lost Horizon is a point-and-click adventure game that takes place in Tibet during 1936. Players will assume the role of a pilot named Fenton Paddock, who is offered the chance to track down an exposition that ended in mystery somewhere in the highlands of Tibet.
Released by Go Games, Flipit is never ending puzzle game available for Android as of today. The idea for FlipIt is simple: players have a single grid that is comprised of squares of all sorts of colors. The objective is to make the squares uniform in their color, by tapping on the squares.

In other Bethesda news, the company’s popular Fallout Shelter mobile game has received an update today that brings with it all kinds of neat little features for players to check out. One of those features is the ability to actually evict lazy Dwellers from your Vault. That’s just one of the cool new features that has arrived with this update.
Lately we have reported on a few developers hosting little tournaments which come with prize money for the players who place in the Top 3 spots after a certain amount of time. It’s a good way to promote a game’s release actually. So far the highest one we have seen was for $10,000. However today that record was beat and by a lot.
