Albion Online is getting closer and closer to its official closed beta launch, which is good since we’ve already had two or three closed Alpha testing phases. In order to get players a little hyped up about the new closed beta, the developers (Sandbox Interactive) have released a new video for everyone to check out called Missions and Factions.

Machine Zone must be still making a grip of money with their strategy title on mobile Game of War – Fire Age. They also appear to enjoy spending that money, especially on their commercials. First there was the company’s Super Bowl ad, then it was Kate Upton appearing in numerous Game of War ads (banners and videos), and now Mariah Carey is making her appearance.

Released by Red Magnet Studios, Blast Force is a shmup that’s just been released on Google Play. Players assume the role of an unnamed security guard of sorts, who works at a large robotics facility. The facility is managed by a system of artificial intelligence that goes rogue.
Unity Realm has released a new arcade platformer today called Super Spartan Fury World, which was apparently inspired by Mega Man X. In this particular game players will be assuming the role of Leonidas, King of the Spartans, who has been called into action by Zeus to help defend Olympus.
It’s Friday and time for our usual round-up of all the Android games on sale right now for this weekend. There actually happens to be quite a good selection of games currently being discounted, including some titles we haven’t seen on sale before and others we haven’t seen in some time now.
Ubisoft released a rather unique game today onto Android in the form of Rabbids Appisodes The Interactive TV Show. Based around the Rabbids Invasion TV Show, this application/game allows users to interact with episodes from the TV show itself. If you haven’t heard of this show, it is probably because you don’t watch a lot of UK Nickelodeon.
Nvidia’s LTE Enabled Shield tablet has had an update pushed out to it, beginning yesterday. While the details for some of what the update addresses are vague, there is a specific one that it also addresses, in that it patches the bug known as Stagefright.
Back in June of this year we reported on a new Final Fantasy game currently being developed called Final Fantasy Adventures. Unfortunately there is a good chance that the Western market won’t see this game, but you never know. It hasn’t been confirmed yet that it won’t be released in the West either.
Apparently our friends over at Tin Man Games have been rather busy as of late, or at least that is what we are guessing since the company has release two new interactive gamebooks onto Android today. Both new releases are part of Tin Man Games’ Gamebook Adventures series, with GA 11: Songs of the Mystics and GA 12: Asuria Awakens.
