In yet more news about casual games set in outer space, there’s another option available to players. Dubbed Space Invaders (no, not that one), this is game where players will need to jump from one purple colored “pocket” of outer space, to the next. This will be done by tapping, but players will have a few things working against them.

Cartoon Network Studios has released their newest RPG title onto Google Play this morning called Surely You Quest. The game is set in the universe of one of their recent animated series called Mighty Magiswords, and has you controlling protagonists Prohyas and Vambre, in their often-hilarious attempts to complete quests and defeat enemies using their infamous “Magiswords”.
A new teaser site popped up courtesy of The Pokemon Company about a new mobile game called Splash! Magikarp. The teaser site displays a newspaper article discussing an investigation into a mysterious occurrence. After hearing a roaring sound in the early morning, and feeling the ground shake, a 27 year old fisherman discovered two Magikarp-shaped holes in the ground at the center of town.
Released by Playdigious, unWorded is a game that was initially released on iOS, and has now been ported over to Android. For those unfamiliar with the game, it’s predicated on the idea of shapes and other visual elements being comprised of letters. As an example, one could make an umbrella out of the the letter “J”, along with a vertical line and what looks like a parentheses, with the “J” being the standard curved handle that one associates with umbrellas.
Advance human civilization by sliding and merging tiles in The Human Age, now in beta on Google Play
To be released by Noodlecake, The human Age is an upcoming match three/building hybrid game. Players wil be using a board that begins in a three by three grid to move tiles around, that are symbolic of different periods of human history. Once three of them have been brought into contact (not necessarily in a row, mind you), they will merge into a single tile that represents the next phase.
Indie developers going by the name of Attribute Clash have released their first mobile game onto Android called Dubspace. This particular game has players taking on the role of Mailcom, who is a pilot in the Rastafarian navy who is out to pick up a bunch of gold and data from his brothers space stations.
Android Wear has a few games here and there, and Matthew Burton has made a few of them. His newest game is ChronoSpin and is more of an arcade game for your Android watch based off of the developer’s other Android Wear game PipSpin.
Gameloft has finally decided to get around to rebooting their HALO style franchise called N.O.V.A with a new game in the works called N.O.V.A. Legacy. While this may be a new addition to the franchise, it is actually a rebooting and remastering of the original N.O.V.A title that was released some years ago.
Publisher Crescent Moon and developer We’re Five Games’ highly anticipated upcoming first-person, action-exploration game Morphite gets a full two minutes of new footage with this new trailer.
[Update: Full Released] Link Twin soft launches in select regions on Samsung Galaxy devices, full launch coming in October
Developers going by the name Lorraine have soft launched their upcoming puzzle game Link Twin in select regions. However, not only is the game available in select regions, you will also need to own a Samsung Galaxy brand device to access it. If you don’t own one, you’ll have to wait like the rest of us, even if you do live in one of the soft launch compatible regions.
