The Wall Street Journal (via Engadget) is reporting on something that is good news for customers and not so good for mobile carriers. It seems as though more news regarding the Nexus brand is starting to come out today. Yesterday we saw the Galaxy Nexus arrive on the Google Play store in an unlocked HSPA+ version for $399. During Google I/O 2011 which just finished, word came out that there would be a Nexus 3 coming out by the end of this year. It seems as though the ghostly Nexus S is starting to make public showings… well at least to people in-store. Best Buy first had a bit of a hiccup on their website. It seems as though they got a little excited and accidentally posted an update to the mobile phones section and under T-Mobile there was an area labeled Nexus S and now photos are out!
Alright, this is strictly a devil’s advocate kind of post. Personally my daily phone right now is a Nexus One and the thought of a Nexus Two is more then a delicious one, however, there are a few reasons that the upcoming Nov. 8th announcement by Samsung will not be regarding a Nexus Two phone along with it being the first to have Gingerbread 2.3 running on it.
