Not to be left out of the holiday sales fun, Nvidia has put a slew of Shield and GeForce Now games on sale for the Christmas season. In total there are 10 games native to the Nvidia Shield that have been discounted for 50% off, and additionally there are four GeForce Now games also on sale.

Last week we reported on Nvidia who had begun teasing some features for the upcoming Marshmallow (Android 6.0) update for the company’s recently released Shield K1 tablet. Well today that update has begun rolling out to owners of the K1 tablet, which means we can now see the full changelog.
Nvidia, makers of the Shield Tablet, has released a teaser video previewing some of what they’re doing with the upcoming Marshmallow (Android 6.0) update. Some of the features they highlight are things like the Marshmallow app drawer, which scrolls vertically, has a search bar at top, and also has no folders.
Submerged is an intriguing proposition: a post-apocalyptic adventure without the standard ingredients. There are no guns, there’s no blasted wasteland and no hideous mutants waiting to tear you limb from limb at every opportunity. Instead there’s an enormous flooded city to explore, filled with playful sea creatures to watch and derelict buildings to climb, making it a serene alternative to the likes of other games in its genre.
Nvidia’s Android Shield TV, and their tablet for that matter, already had built-in streaming capabilities to Twitch. However, as of today, owners of the Shield Android TV unit can also watch live boardcasts and anything else available on the Twitch streaming platform.

Today Nvidia has announced a new version of their gaming-centric Android Shield tablet. This new version comes in at a lower price point than the original Shield Tablet, and all the hardware that the original came with. Well almost all the hardware. There are a few small differences between the two tablets.
Nvidia has released a new promotional video for their Android Shield TV unit but unlike the usual commercials that get released, this one is a bit different. This features a man with a crafted living room, complete with a couch, a cat, TV, and the Shield TV, falling 10,000 feet through the sky. While he’s tumbling towards the ground below, he plays a few games on the Shield TV.
