Two new games have been updated with support for the Nvidia Shield brand of devices. One of them isn’t available just yet, but has been announced as coming to Nvidia devices very soon. The other game, however, is available now for anyone with a Shield device.

Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand platform seems to be continuing the trend they have been doing for quite some time now, with releasing a new game every week on Tuesday. However, it seems as of late, there has been more than one game added each week instead, and this week is no exception to that either.
Nvidia has launched a trio of spine-tingling new games this week on GeForce NOW, its cloud-based game streaming service that allows Android gamers to play full PC game releases on Nvidia’s Shield family of devices including Shield Android TV, Shield tablet and Shield portable.
The Park isn’t the only newly release PC game to show up on Nvidia’s gaming-on-demand service called GeForce Now. Layers of Fear is another newly added horror game for the Halloween holiday season that is now available on Nvidia Shield devices.
Halloween is just around the corner and what better way to celebrate the spooky holiday than by hunkering down to play some horror video games? Arriving just in time for the Halloween season, The Park is a new first-person psychological thriller that simultaneously launched on Nvidia Shield devices and PC this week.
This week’s new game for Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand service for Shield devices is a game called Sniper Elite V2. As you are probably guessing from the title, this is a sniper game. This particular sniper game takes place during World War II where you will be taking control of elite US sniper Karl Fairburne.
The latest game launching on Android exclusively for the Nvidia Shield Android TV is a strange and dreamlike adventure set in 1920s Paris. Blurring the boundaries between reality and imagination, Contrast, created by Canadian developers Compulsion Games, focuses on Didi, a lonely little girl whose single mother leaves her at home every night when she goes out to sing in nightclubs, and casts you in the role of Dawn, Didi’s imaginary friend – or is she?
Now available on Nvidia Shield devices, Pix the Cat is a mash-up between two old school classics, Snake and Pac-Man. Each single screen level contains a number of eggs and a corresponding number of target spaces. Each time Pix grabs an egg, it turns into a duckling that then proceeds to follow Pix around the level. Collect more eggs and your tail of ducklings gets longer and longer… so long, in fact, that eventually you have to be wary of hitting your own ducks and receiving a penalty.
Nvidia’s GeForce Now gaming-on-demand service is now live including 8 premium titles for purchase
Yesterday we reported that the big changeover for Nvidia’s gaming-on-demand service formally known as Nvidia GRID would be happening today. Sure enough everything is now live including the new name, GeForce Now, the monthly subscription, and eight premium games available for purchase.
Nvidia Shield will be available in Europe tomorrow. Also forms a new partnership with Google Fiber.
While the big news today regarding the Nvidia Shield Android TV is that GeForce Now will be launching tomorrow, that isn’t all of the news regarding Nvidia today. If you live in Europe, all you’ve really been able to do is stare at pictures of the Shield Android TV. Tomorrow that changes as well since the company has now made it available for European residents.
