Heroes of Loot is OrangePixel’s recently released Gauntlet-style game that has done pretty well for itself since it launched onto Android not too long ago. The game features some pretty cute little characters that you get to play as and the game itself can be pretty addicting. If you happen to be someone who collects video game figurines and also a fan of Heroes of Loot, then you’ll be happy to know that there is now a set of figurines available for order.

One game we have been following throughout its development is OrangePixel’s new game called Heroes of Loot. This new game was inspired by the arcade classic Gauntlet although there are some slightly different game mechanics with Heroes of Loot. In the end though it is all about getting that loot and being a powerful badass.
OrangePixel has been working on a Gauntlet style for quite some time now called Heroes of Loot. Up until now we haven’t really had a solid release date for this game but thanks to a tweet over on their Twitter account today, we now know that Heroes of Loot will be arriving onto Android on September 12th, 2013 and possibly Ouya as well on the same day.
OrangePixel has basically started a tradition with giving away a full free game every year when Summer starts as a way to say thank you to everyone who has supported them. This year is no different and their Summer freebie is called Sketchbook Squad and this freebie also comes integrated with Google Play Games services.

One game we are eagerly looking forward to getting released is a new retro style game from OrangePixel called Heroes of Loot. The Neo Geo Pocket was SNK’s first handheld. The original monochrome model, Neo Geo Pocket, was released in 1998 in Japan and in 1999 its successor, the Neo Geo Pocket Color, was released in America. It was posed as a competitor to Nintendo’s commercially superior Gameboy. The device lived in the nebulous period between the Gameboy at its highest and the impending launch of the Gameboy Advance.
The Gauntlet inspired game that OrangePixel has been working on lately and that we have talked about a few times in the recent past now has a bit more of a solid release time frame. For those of you looking to get your hands on Heroes of Loot, you won’t have to wait much longer.
It looks like today is shaping up to be a rather busy day in terms of updates to games on Androids. Another title has been updated today and this time it is OrangePixel’s Gunslugs that has gotten a rather cool content update which brings a new playable character into the game, a bad ass new chicken gun and more.
Some of you may remember a rather popular 4-player arcade game called Gauntlet which eventually made it to a few consoles as well. OrangePixel has been showing off some footage of a prototype game they are working on that is in the style of Gauntlet but with their own added flare to it. Currently the game is unnamed and is simply being called Untitled Dungeon Crawler.
