So today marks another milestone for Rovio and their Angry Birds franchise but instead of download numbers this milestone is for YouTube views. Rovio has surpassed the 1 billion views mark on YouTube, something that rarely happens unless you sing songs like Gangnam Style.

Back in December of last year we reported on Mediocre having announced that they were well underway with developing Sprinkle 2, a sequel for their rather popular physics-based puzzle game. The company has released more details about their upcoming game as well as another screenshot for us to check out.
Currently from Disney we have Where’s My Water? and Where’s My Perry? physics-based puzzle games to enjoy. We also have other indie developers making there own spin-off of the Where’s My franchise including one game called Wimp: Where’s My Pants? Now we can add another game to the list, once again from Disney, called Where’s My Valentine?
The Chinese New Year is upon us and for those of you who celebrate this particular it is always a time to celebrate. The folks over at Zeptolabs also think it is a time to celebrate and have released a new update today for Cut The Rope called Lantern Box and along with this update comes a new gameplay element.
HeroCraft has released a new casual puzzle game onto Google Play called Catch the Candy which also happens to be on sale to celebrate the game’s launch onto Android. Originally Catch the Candy started off as an online flash game which has not been ported over to Android so you can continue feeding your little blue creature candy.
Ever since the first day, the pause menu in Angry Birds: Star Wars HD contained a couple of ads for Rovio’s other games. Considering this was a paid game costing $2.99, the presence of the ads was baffling, irrespective of whether the ads were only for Rovio’s other titles. However, users could turn off the ads by tapping a button in the in-game menu, so a large-scale protest never materialized.
A couple of days ago we posted about Rovio teasing a new update for Angry Birds Star Wars which would be heading our way soon. Well ‘soon’ came rather quickly as this new update is now live on Google Play and available for download. Interestingly enough we didn’t think it would be named Escape from Hoth but it ended up being the official name for this update.

Yesterday Rovio teased fans about an upcoming update for their physics-based puzzle game that is all about the pigs in the Angry Birds universe called Bad Piggies. When we reported on the update, which is being tentatively called Road Hogs, we didn’t have too many details about it at the time. Well now we have a bit more information and Road Hogs will actually be a new mode to play in Bad Piggies.
