In what was to be a historic event, the Angry Birds and their enemies, the Pigs, sat down on live tv to go through the final day of peace talks. While tension was thick in the air, everything was progressing somewhat nicely until the end when one bird decided to get brave, causing the Pigs to grab the eggs and try to escape. Some eggs did not make it out though.

The title’s a lie, since cows can fly! But they definitely can’t swim… Roll and hop your strangely-shaped cow toward the portal, physics-style, using Bongo-gravity as your guide. But, don’t forget the stars!
Just after writing the previous post regarding NOVA 2 game art I happened to spot an interesting tweet that mentioned there would be no Angry Birds 2 by Rovio. While this may be a bit confusing considering what Rovio CEO, Peter Vesterbacka, said at the Virtual Goods Summit the other day, it could mean a couple things.
Angry Birds developer Rovio recently talked at the Virtual Goods Summit in London about future plans with their flagship game and something interesting came to light. While it is no surprise, and heavily reported on, that Angry Birds will be heading to consoles soon as well as a TV show and a movie, mention of a sequel came up.
A few days back we posted about a game we found and tried out called SheepRun which seems to be a mix of physics and Lemmings style gameplay. Aside from the fact it was a pretty interested game (still in beta) the main thing that caught our eye was the user interface which looked ridiculously like Angry Birds’ user interface, so we shot off an email to Rovio.
Mix physics gameplay, Lemmings style gaming, and an Angry Birds-like user interface elements and what do you get? SheepRun! Developed by the curiously named FingerFantasy, SheepRun looks like it would have been developed by Rovio due to the user interface; however, similarities end there in this unique game.
Everyone who has been playing Angry Birds will be pleased with this announcement. Rovio has released the first update for Angry Birds for Android and it is a pretty nice sized update. First, the game now supports QVGA screens so anyone who owns an Android device with a QVGA screen will have proper screen support with the graphics in-game.
Angry Birds Full version review – so angry a judge has ordered they take anger management classes
After what seemed to be a relatively smooth beta test, Rovio has officially released the ad-supported full version of Angry Birds. Where does Angry Birds rank among casual Android games? Damn near the top and the amount of work you get done will suffer for it. That’s alright though, hunting Golden Eggs is better anyways.
Well this is rather awesome. There is a bug inside the Angry Birds game someone found out and posted the instructions on Reddit. A user going by the name of Braaaiins found the bug and after trying it myself it does work, quite well in fact. However the instructions are a bit misleading when talking about keeping the worlds unlocked.
Big news today as another huge smash hit game is on its way to Android. We are talking about the recently released iOS game called Cut The Rope by Zeptolab. According to dutch Android site, AndroidPlanet.nl, they are committed to making an Android version available sometime in the future. The iOS version was released through Chillingo, let’s hope that doesn’t happen.
