[UPDATED: Game Released] Five Nights At Freddy’s 4 will actually be releasing next month and not Halloween
Sc0tt Games has been teasing the fourth and final installment into their Five Nights at Freddy’s for a bit now, and throughout the entire time teasing this game it has always been labeled as an October 2015 release. More specifically, a Halloween release. However that appears to be changing and now this game is slated for release in August 2015.
Google has decided to put a pretty awesome game sale on for this weekend, with a pretty nice selection of titles being up to 90% off for a limited time. Between now and July 27th, 2015, you will have the ability to pick up any of the 22 games currently on sale, all of which are heavily discounted.
Normally we don’t do Android game sale round-ups on a Thursday, since we usually do them as an end-of-the-week sort of thing. However there are some new additions that have gone on sale that people may want to take advantage of that may not be there tomorrow.
Back in May of this year we reported on a partnership between Cartoon Network and D3 GO! for a new Adventure Time game called Adventure Time Puzzle Quest. This game was announced for Android with a release time frame of this Summer. Well this game is now available for Android devices.
Released by independent game developer Richard Lord, is a game where players assemble “freaks” at a factory. The gameplay is puzzle oriented, as players are cramming as many as possible in the allotted amount of space. For a frame of reference, the game is laid out in a nearly identical fashion to the more commonly known Bubble Shooter games, only with Freak Factory, there’s no apparent way to remove the freaks once they’re in place.
Inner world is a point and click adventure game, released by Headup Games. I am a fan of this genre, going back a couple of decades, so I was looking forward to review this once I came across it. Fortunately, the game (largely) didn’t disappoint, with only a few technical flaws in an otherwise solid game.
As we reported on its pending release nearly a week back, Stupid Zombies 3 has arrived on to Google Play today. This game is a puzzler, yet looks like an action-oriented, 2D side scroller. The idea of the game is to kill off all the zombies, in order to complete the level. What makes it a puzzle is that the player has limited resources (ie- number of bullets) in order to achieve this, so a workable solution needs to be found.
Released by Mutant Labs, Hot Seat is a new party game for Android. The game is based on association, with the player having to think of a word beginning with a particular letter, and within a given category, such as Birds beginning with the letter “O”.
Released by Code2Game, SwappyDots is a new match-three game that has had its gameplay crossed with the classic sliding puzzle mechanic. Players will be looking at a grid of colored dots, a la Candy Crush. What’s different about this game, is that there’s one spot in the grid that’s empty, reminiscent of the classic, pocket-sized sliding puzzle games of yore.
