A little over a week ago we had hunted down some evidence that a Humble Bundle for Android would be arriving this month. We didn’t know exactly when this month it would arrive, only that it would be here and it would feature a game called Frozen Synapse. Well it looks like we are two for two on figuring out when a Humble Bundle for Android is on the way because the new one has now gone live.

Over the last few days Rovio has been pumping out the news over a variety of topics ranging from a new expanded licensing agreement with Hasbro to teasing a new Angry Birds game called Angry Birds Go!. What this all means is that there is still plenty of the Angry Birds franchise coming our way.

Radiangames and their titles on iOS have quite a bit of a cult following and now the developer has finally begun bringing their games over to Android as well starting with Slyndris. This game is like a sliding block game but with blocks dropping from the top of the screen like they do in Tetris.
Color Zen by Large Animal Games is an interesting new puzzle game with a Zen-like quality to it. The interesting part about this particular puzzle game is that there is no score, no penalties for failure or anything like that. There is just a set of rules to follow when trying to solve each puzzle.
Herocraft has launched a new game onto Google Play today called Tiny Token Empires. Originally this game has been released onto many platforms already including the Playstation 3 via the PSN, Xbox 360 via the XBLA, Steam for PC and even on iTunes. Now the game has finally come to Android thanks to the publishing efforts of Herocraft.
Fallen Tree Games has brought the third installment of their puzzle game franchise Quell over to Android via Amazon’s AppStore called Quell Memento. Following the the footsteps of its older brothers, Quell Memento is another sliding puzzle game with a zen-like quality to it.
Spry Fox has gone live with a beta sign-up for anyone who has the Google Play version of Triple Town should they be interested in checking out new features and testing them before they get released to the rest of the public to enjoy. The beta requires you to have the Google Play version of the game and will not work with the Amazon AppStore version.
One of the more popular humorous party quiz games is making its way to Ouya in about a week’s time. You Don’t Know Jack by Jellyvision Games arrived onto Android on May 20th for Android phones and tablets and is now also slated to hit the Android-powered game console on June 11th, 2013.
Sorry that the squirrel has been out for a while but he is back at it. One of the reasons for being gone has to do with the first game he has been playing. This particular game seems to have sucked many people’s free time away from them.
