Back in August of last year we talked about a great looking racing game that also happens to feature puzzle elements called Positron. Well the developers have announced that they will be launching beta sign-ups for those of you interested in getting in and testing out this rather slick looking Tron inspired game.

One of the more anticipated games heading our way soon from Gameloft is the next installment into the Asphalt series of games called Asphalt 8: Airborne. Gameloft has begun releasing teaser trailers for Asphalt 8 and the newest one shows off some of the gameplay we can expect to find when the game is finally released.
Vector Unit’s newest addition to their catalog of awesome games happens to be the very recently released sequel to Riptide GP. While the game was just released onto Android and iOS, no official version has made its way over to Ouya. Of course that doesn’t mean you can’t side-load the game onto your Android-powered console after buying it off of Google Play and that is exactly what one Ouya owner did.
It’s time for another mid-week round-up of all the Android games currently on sale right now. This seems to be an especially good mid-week when it comes to games that are on sale with Rockstar Games leading the pack by discounting Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and Max Payne until July 30th, 2013. That, however, isn’t all that is on sale though.
We’ve already covered a lot of the details regarding Gameloft’s upcoming addition to their Asphalt franchise called Asphalt 8: Airborne in a previous article when the game was first announced as heading to Android soon. Well during today’s press event that Google held, Gameloft apparently had Asphalt 8: Airborne demonstrated, showing the game optimized for the new Nexus 7 tablets.
The other day we reported on Vector Unit and the fact that they were holding a live IAmA over on Reddit where they were answering questions. That is where they also officially announced the release date for the sequel to their very awesome water racing game Riptide. Well today is that day and Riptide GP 2 has arrived right on time which should make a lot of you happy.
Currently Vector Unit is on Reddit holding an IAmA live answering questions that anyone may have for them. While this is only going to last about another hour or so, we have collected some of the important information you have been wondering about their next game Riptide GP 2. Most importantly, when the game will actually get released which will be July 23rd.
Red Bull has another addition to their Kart Fighter series of games heading to Android soon. Officially called Kart Fighter 3 – Unbeaten Tracks, this new game will be making its way over to Google Play on July 18th, 2013 and features all new karts and all new tracks with more to be added in future updates as well.
Vector Unit’s highly anticipated sequel to their original and extremely good water racing game Riptide GP is getting closer to release. The company has already shown off some of the gameplay in a previous video, showcasing some of the new Jet Skis that will be in the game. Today they have released a new video, and actually plan to release more throughout the day, showing off some of the new tracks and stunts in the game.
It has been quite awhile since we last talked about Sega’s popular Dreamcast game Crazy Taxi and the fact it was going to be coming to Android in the near future. Unfortunately ‘the near future’ became quite a few months as the original story was posted back in October of last year. However, Sega has quietly released the game finally onto Google Play today.
