For the third edition of our Game of the Week poll, we are going to combine releases from the past two weeks because developers are taking it easy during this early part of the year and we’ve had a hard time finding games worthy of being in contention for the award. Also, there haven’t really been any big or major releases, so you may be unfamiliar with some of the games below.
It has been a few months since EA released a video of any kind relating to their upcoming racing game Real Racing 3. When it comes to ads and Android games, many of us have come to terms with the fact that they will always be there. In fact it is pretty much a standard option of monetizing a game that a developer releases for free. When we buy a game, we generally expect to not see ads at all although sometimes they are included anyways. Well Gameloft’s Asphalt 7: Heat is now using Airpush which happens to be one of the ad serving services that most people find incredibly annoying.

Electronic Arts is actually having quite the sale this holiday seasons and it goes much further than Need For Speed: Most Wanted and Contre Jour being only $0.99 for the holidays, while a lot of the free-to-play games EA has, such as TheSims and Theme Park, are having sales regarding in-game purchases. There also happens to be holiday themed items you can find in some of those games as well.
Thought we were done posting about sales this holiday season? We you would be wrong if you thought that although we don’t have too many more to report on. However, Gameloft looks to be expanding their last week’s sale of Wild Blood and Order & Chaos Online for $0.99 by making most of their games now on sale for a dollar.
