DeNA and Square Enix have announced today that they will be doing a cross-over event with Final Fantasy: Record Keeper and Final Fantasy XIV which will start next month. Final Fantasy: Record Keeper will be featuring the more popular content from the MMORPG during the cross-over event.
Dogfire Games will be releasing their first major title onto Android next month called Major Contract. This particular title is a side-scrolling arcade game where players must collect resources from different planets in order to complete mining contracts that you get.
You may or may not remember us writing about a game that was making its way from Xbox Live Arcade to Android called Quiet, Please!. This is a pretty unique retro-style game which actually has a few additional titles in the franchise, all of which have slowly been made available on Google Play since the original game’s release onto Android. Released by Riot Games, makers of League of Legends, comes a side-scroller called Blitzcrank’s Poro Roundup. In this game, players assume the role of Blitzcrank, and setting out to rescue as many Poros as possible from being eaten by Baron Nashor.
Released by Whitedog, Craft Up is a platform jumping game (think Doodle Jump), where players are seeking to leave the very center of the earth and jump up to the top of the world, only to find that the world doesn’t a top. Players will simply control the direction of the jumping via tapping on either side of the handset.
Laser Dog, known for previous games Puk and Alone, have been working on a great retro-style platformer called Hopiko for awhile now. In fact we reported on this game coming to Android back in April of this year. So it has been a few months since we’ve heard anything about when this game will be released. Now we have a release date finally thanks to a post on Vine from the developers.

Amazon hosts a new Free App of the Day bundle including Goat Simulator, Scribblenauts Remix and more
Amazon has decided to host another one of their Free App of the Day bundles today with over $90 worth of games and applications available for free for a limited time. These bundles are starting to become a regular event with Amazon, which is a good thing, especially when they have good titles like Goat Simulator in them.
According to a blog post on their own site, Noodlecake has apparently decided to put forth a “pirated” version of their own game that’s already for sale. Considering they mention that, according to the analytics from the blog post, they only were paid for %11 of the copies of Wayward Souls that are being played (that they can track), it is understandable that they would want to make a statement.
