Gamers are used to developers crying foul when a game is pirated by users, but in an odd turn of events, independent developer, North Pole Command Centre Limited, was the victim of another developer rather than consumers. According to a forum post by a Reddit user with the screen name, “funkst2002,” Amazon denied their submission for their game, Pocket Wrestling. Having previously published the game to Google Play, the user was confused by the rejection, inspiring them to conduct an investigation of their own.

Beveled Edge Studios is a new indie game development studio who have been working on their debut mobile game called Starific. This is a pretty interesting looking game which features a few different types of game mechanics and radial gameplay which definitely isn’t the easiest thing to do on mobile devices.
For whatever reason today has a lot of Android games going on sale. It isn’t just a bunch of random games either. A few developers have put huge chunks of their catalog on sale for quite cheap, and Kemco is one of them. Today the company has put 12 games on sale for a limited time, all of which are now priced at a mere $0.99.
Now available on Nvidia Shield devices, Pix the Cat is a mash-up between two old school classics, Snake and Pac-Man. Each single screen level contains a number of eggs and a corresponding number of target spaces. Each time Pix grabs an egg, it turns into a duckling that then proceeds to follow Pix around the level. Collect more eggs and your tail of ducklings gets longer and longer… so long, in fact, that eventually you have to be wary of hitting your own ducks and receiving a penalty.
Released by Tkan, Mission-S is a side scrolling, helicopter combat game. Players begin the game controlling a Vietnam War era Hawk, and will later get to use an Apache and a Viper. The idea is for players to complete the mission (or not) within 35 seconds. There are forty missions total within Mission-S.
Android Game Sale Round-Up: Dragon Quest VI, Final Fantasy Dimensions, Limbo, Sproggiwood and more
It’s the end of another week and while we have a lot of work ahead of us here to get ready for launching more new features over the next few days, including our new site design, there is always time for a round-up of Android games on sale.
Modoc Development has released a pretty big update for their geometry-style arcade game called Don’t Blink. The new update brings with it a big overhaul to the visuals, adjustments to local multiplayer, and adjustments to how the multipliers work.
Released by Kemco, makers of a myriad of JRPGs for Android, has released translated another one of their Japanese games into English. Dubbed Legna Tactica, this game revolves around the idea of ending war altogether. The protagonists are two boys with this ambitious goal, and the question of hope to achieve it will be visited throughout the game.
We briefly touched on Back to the Future franchise’s upcoming birthday the other day in our post about Telltale Games’ impromptu Q&A session on Twitter. Unfortunately none of the Back to the Future stuff talked about was heading to mobile. The good news is that there is actually some Back to the Future goodness coming to mobile to celebrate its anniversary, but in the form of a new themed event in Jetpack Joyride.
Released by Curve Digital and developed by Peter Moorehead, Murder is a new point and click adventure game that is coming soon. The game will be set in a near-future Tokyo with a cyberpunk influence and pixel art visuals.
