Released by NTT Resonant Inc, Neo Monsters is a game where players capture, evolve, and build a team of monsters. Set in a distant land, under the rule of the Verosian Empire, which depends on monsters for everything from companionship to assistance with labor. Above all else, the monsters that battle provide entertainment.
Back at the end of March Snail Games announced the arrival of Taichi Panda Heroes which was heading into closed beta testing that day. Since then we have been playing in the closed beta, which is actually quite a lot of fun. Today, however, Taichi Panda Heroes has dropped the closed beta tags and instead soft launched in a few select regions.
At the end of this month, PlayPlayFun will be returning to the world of Tales of Clicker Knights RPG with the sequel for that game, officially titled Tap Knight and the Dark Castle. If you’re not familiar with the original game and franchise, these are ‘clicker’ games but with other activities to do in the game aside from just tapping on a singular button as much as you can.
Announced by Square Enix via the game’s Twitter account, that they are going to be releasing the Android version of Romancing SaGa 2 globally. Originally released for the Super Famicom back in 1993, this game is set in the Kingdom of Avalon, where players begin the game assuming the role of King Leon, along with other characters (even through subsequent generations of characters) as the focus of the game shifts.
Next week on April 14th is turning into a pretty busy release day for Android games and there are even more being announced for that Thursday, with the newest title being Dungenious. Developed by Noizoo Games, this turn-based dungeon crawler is actually a bit of an unusual hybrid game, meshing dungeon crawler with RPG mechanics and a quiz system.
Kemco almost always releases a retro style RPG when a new game lands on Android from them. Their release today is no different, except it isn’t just a retro RPG. Instead, their new game Elio is actually a hybrid title that features kingdom building, dungeon crawling, and RPG mechanics of course.
Namco released a match-3 RPG in Japan some time ago called Tales of LINK, and since its launch this game has done incredibly well for itself. Grimm Bros has announced that their new PC-based tactical RPG called Dragon Fin Soup will be landing on Android later this year. This particular game is a roguelike tactical RPG which is actually getting a big update in the immediate future for the PC version. The mobile version will also be coming with this update as well, which is titled Extra Chunky Edition.
The Ragnarok franchise as a whole has been around for quite some time, mainly as an online MMORPG. However, over the past couple of years the franchise has branched out into the world of mobile gaming as well. This includes the release of games like Ragnarok Online: Valkyrie and others.
