Back on Friday of last week we posted a list of games on sale for Memorial Day weekend. The list was pretty big as it was but as today is Memorial Day the list has actually grown in size with even more sales going on. Some developers have actually ended their sales as of yesterday but that number is rather small, somewhere in the neighborhood of only two or three titles having dropped their discounts.

Two rather big franchises are heading to mobile soon thanks to a new partnership deal between Hasbro and DeNA. Both G.I. Joe and Dungeons & Dragons will be making their way to Android and iOS later this year and will naturally be free-to-play games since they will be published by DeNA using their Mobage social gaming platform.
Over the last few days I’ve been really busy. As soon as I thought I was going to get some time to enjoy a game, what ended up happening is something else turned up that required my attention. It is about that time to round-up all the games that are currently on sale right now like we do at the end of every week. This week is a bit different though as this weekend is Memorial Day weekend and therefor we usually see quite a lot of sales happening on holiday weekends like this.
The developers of the highly popular Gamebook Adventure series of interactive RPG books, recently digitizing the Fighting Fantasy series as well, have unleashed a new adventure book but of a different nature. This time around their new adventure book features the bad ass Judge Dredd.
Even though the game has been available for a short while now, Gameloft has decided to release a video to give everyone a look into how Dungeon Hunter 4 went from an idea and a few sketches to a fully realized game that, for the most part, managed to successfully makes its way back to its roots with a new actual storyline and a much more familiar feeling to the game.
Yesterday Nvidia announced that their Android-powered handheld gaming system, now official called just ‘Shield’, has gone live for pre-orders to those people who have subscribed to the Shield’s newsletter. Everyone else has to wait until May 20th, 2013 to pre-order a unit. Double Fine has come out today to announce that their Costume Quest game will also be heading to Nvidia’s Shield system as well.
While we won’t report on every single game that gets updated with the new Google Play Games service, we will try to keep everyone up to speed on which of their games will now have this service integrated. Glu has already begun adding Google Play Games to their titles and the first one to get these new features is Eternity Warriors 2.
Back in April of this year we talked about a rather cool looking game that Gamevil was planning to bring to Android soon called Dark Avenger. While the game has already been released onto iOS recently, Android gamers can now grab a copy of the game themselves as it is now available on Google Play.
We’ve been talking about Jagex and their MMORPG RuneScape coming to tablets for awhile now. We first heard about the possibility that this could happen back in the Fall of last year. Now Jagex has come out to say that the company is working really hard on trying to have RuneScape available on tablets by the end of this year.
