Gamelion has officially announced the sequel to their hit dual-joystick arcade shooter Monster Shooter for Android. Appropriately name Monster Shooter 2, this is the official sequel to the original game even though there are two of them already out: Monster Shooter and Monster Shooterr – The Lost Levels.
Madfinger Games’ rather popular third-person multiplayer shooter Shadowgun: Deadzone has received a major version update, bringing the version of the game up to 2.0. The update brings plenty of new content to the game including new maps, new weapons and new game mode and much more.
The most recent Humble Bundle is about half way through its sale time and just like when it always hits the mid-way mark for the allotted time each bundle is on sale, a few more games have been added to the list. Developed using Unreal Engine 3, EPOCH takes place in a post-apocalyptic world where robots battle it out for survival. Along the way player might even be able to piece together the events that took place which ended up having the old world end and leave nothing but ruins in its place.
PAX East 2013 is well under way now and plenty of gaming news is flowing out of this year’s event. PlayJam is gearing up to do the official unveiling of their portable Android gaming console GameStick during GDC 2013 next week as well as an announcement that is in regards to the games that will be available to play using GameStick when it goes on sale retail-wise and pre-orders ship. In our previous article about GameStick’s GDC 2013 unveiling, the company mentioned that there would be around 30 titles available for the initial launch.
Plasma Sky is a new arcade shooter that has arrived onto Google Play that sports some pretty slick looking visuals, especially for those of you out there who enjoy the glowy graphics some games back in the day. Even though Plasma Sky has a flare for the retro with its visuals, its gameplay also looks influenced by some of the more classic shooter games people used to play in the arcades.
