It’s been a short while since we had our last Humble Bundle for Android go live and it seems like we could be getting the next one this month. According to some posts on the Steam forums, a poster with a rather ‘reliable source’ says that it would be coming this month. However, the post was done at the beginning of February and today is the beginning of March.

The rather popular (and cool looking) 2D top-down shooter Dynamite Jack looks to be invading Android next week. Currently available for iOS devices, Dynamite Jack has players take on the role of Jack, a brave space marine, armed with only bombs and a flashlight, who must escape the Anathema Mines. Players will use stealth to sneak past guards and bombs to obliterate enemies on Jack’s journey to freedom.
Not too long ago we talked about a game called Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny by Butterscotch Shenanigans, an indie studio made up of two brothers. This game brings with it all the dual-joystick animal projecting fun you can handle, meshing it with an upgrade and mapping system similar to that found in the Binding of Isaac.
Our friends over at Retrobomb just dropped us a note to inform us that their game, Expendable Rearmed, has gone on sale for a limited time at 50% off. This revamped and re-imaged version of the classic Dreamcast game brings with it all of the action the original had but with completely new visuals and controls specifically designed for mobile devices.
There is a new game heading our way which will allow players to shoot not one but six animals out of their face. Developed by indie studio Butterscotch Shenanigans, Towelfight 2: The Monocle of Destiny will be bringing this dual-joystick animal projecting fun to Android soon where you will be playing as Hardik, a suave, bearded man from India with a pet Pug named Bella.
There is a new Indie Game Developer on the block and that’s the Austin, Texas based company Paralarc. Paralarc was created this year and consists of a few programmers whose focus is bringing free and intense games to the Android market. Paralarc believes that even though a free game with IAP’s has proven to be a working model, they also believe that any content that can be purchased should not limit the player form having a great gaming experience and should be available to be earned through the skill of the player. To prove that Paralarcs’ first release will be an Android game called Battle Moon 2075 and it is scheduled to be released in May.
Well the squirrel is running today with two must get games. First off we have an oldie (sort of) but a goodie and for the second, a relatively recently released endless running game. So let’s jump on into it shall we?
Welcome to the seventh installment of our Under The Radar column where we showcase a handful of good games that we may not have been able to publish as full articles on the site. Ultimately, with this, smaller developers get vital exposure for their games and you get to have more games to play on your plate. If you know of more quality games released recently that have not got the attention they deserve, let us know by leaving a comment!
A few days ago we talked about a top-down shooter that was once really popular for the Amiga back in the day. Recently, the game got redone and was made available for anyone who had a Playstation Certified device and Playstation Mobile. Now, Alien Breed is available for everyone on the Google Play store.
nVidia has decided to release a new video today showing off another game running on Project Shield. This time though, in order to celebrate Valentine’s Day, the game they are showing off happens to be Dead on Arrival 2 because nothing says Happy Valentine’s Day like splattering zombie bits all over everything.
