Electronic Arts have been speaking a lot over the past few days about their stance in the gaming industry in general, talking about how they are saving any new IPs for when the next-gen consoles are released and that they won’t be making the same mistakes next year as they did this year. Now word has come out that they have completely dropped the notion of single-player games and are now, instead, focusing solely on multiplayer games and interconnection between platforms, something we have seen slowly making its way onto their mobile games lately.

Back in November of 2011 we reported on the hit browser-based fighting game My Brute and that is was coming to Android before Christmas. Well that didn’t happen and half a year later here we are finally being able to report that My Brute has now landed on the Google Play store.
E3 2012: Gameloft announces Kingdoms & Lords, Cosmic Colony. Also first trailers for Spider-Man and Asphalt 7: Heat
Gameloft just dropped a ton of media in our laps along with an announcement of two new social games called Kingdoms & Lords and Cosmic Colony. Along with the announcement of these two new games comes new trailers for the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man game as well as Asphalt 7.
Interesting news coming out of Japan today regarding a certain game mechanic that they have just ruled as illegal. Due to this new ruling, the stocks of some major social gaming companies like GREE, DeNA and others have plummeted drastically to upwards of a 23 percent loss.
New Assassin’s Creed title coming to Android on the GREE platform, Gameloft jumps on with Gang Domination
We have a two part bit of news to talk about in this article. One of the major social gaming companies that is planning to expand into the US and UK this year called GREE will also be bringing with it a completely new Assassin’s Creed title.
It’s no secret that Gameloft likes to take liberty with inspiration when it comes to major triple A blockbuster games. Modern Combat, N.O.V.A., Backstab, Gangstar, 9mm, Order and Chaos, should be all familiar to those who own a PC or console for the past five years. This time Gameloft may have outdone themselves with Gameloft Live.
For those of you who play on the Mobage social gaming network, you now have one more game connected to your Mobage account. This time though it comes from the guys over at Glu and it happens to be their rather popular social shooter/action game called Gun Bros.
YoYo Games have published a few rather popular games on the Android Market including They Need to be Fed and Karoshi. Their newest game will break from the single platform mold and will be a cross-platform social game going by the name of Grave Maker.
I decided to do something a bit different for this review. Instead of reviewing each game separately, I am going to do a side by side comparison of these games to see which one is the “better” kingdom. Today I am looking at We Rule by ngmoco and Miracle City Online by DroidHen. Let the battle begin!
Roughly two weeks ago Sega released a beta version of a new social RPG called Fallen Realms. Style after the more old school type of RPG titles out there, instead of moving a character around with a virtual joystick/D-pad, you would just use tapping to go from place to place. Today, Sega drops the beta tags and Fallen Realms is now officially live.
