Rovio has released a new mobile game that has nothing to do with anger or birds, or Angry Birds for that matter. The new game is called Nibblers! and is a match-3 puzzle game that features strange looking fish and other sea creatures instead. There also happens to be plenty of fruit as well.
Deep Silver FISHLABS and ISBIT Games have released a new game on Android today called Clashtag, but only in certain regions right now. The global launch for this game will be happening later this Summer. This isn’t your typical game though. This is a social game built around Instagram, and is actually a series of mini-games that you compete in against other people.
While Square Enix may not be bringing the actual games from the console/PC series to mobile devices for the foreseeable future, that isn’t stopping the company from bringing spin-off games to mobile. Electronic Arts and Walt Disney emerged from the conference room yesterday to announce an exclusive development deal that will make EA and their subsidiaries exclusive developers for all things Star Wars for the next few years. Disney also stated that they will retain certain rights to develop new titles for the mobile and social platforms in the future, at their discretion. This is another historical exclusive score for EA as some of you may remember the EA Sports / NFL exclusive deal inked in 2004 and it remains today.

While we all wait for the My Little Pony game to be unleashed onto Google Play for all the My Little Pony fans out there, we do know that the iOS version of the game is slated for release tomorrow, along side the numerous other big titles released that seem to be planned for November 8th, 2012 on both Android and iOS. That means that the Android version of the My Little Pony game could show up tomorrow as well, or shortly thereafter.
Another Marvel Universe based game is on the horizon and this time it will be coming in the form of a TCG called Marvel: War of Heroes. As of right now there isn’t a whole lot of information regarding this upcoming Marvel title but we do know a few key points about it. First, we know that this TCG will be coming integrated with DeNA’s social gaming platform (Mobage) which means this will also be a free-to-play title.

Their newest release, named Deluxe Cafe, sets itself as a social game that includes all that social-ish goodness that creates some mixed opinions among casual and hardcore gamers.
In a move to directly compete with GREE who happens to be currently dominating the TCG / Card Battle gaming genre on Android here in the west and in Europe, Zynga has decided to import two of their card battling games over to the rest of the world from their Japan division. Yes, that means two more TCG titles to play and attempt to keep track of while playing the other 50 installed on your device.
