In our last post regarding the Madden 2011 game by EA Mobile, we mentioned it was coming in an update to the Droid X. The version within the update is, indeed, a demo version which we figured it would be. Upgrading to the full version will set you back $9.99 which really isn’t bad considering the quality of the game.

Verizon will be pushing out a new update to Droid X owners in the very near future, version 2.3.340. Included in this update, according to the documents, is EA Mobile’s Madden 2011 game which was supposed to be available by now to Android gamers. Considering this, it looks like the reason it hasn’t bee released is due to Verizon nabbing an exclusive on it.
Yesterday we got tipped off by Dave who has been on Gameloft’s ass since their DRM mix up a few months back. He mentioned to us that a quick appearance of Let’s Golf 2 had shown itself on the Gameloft website in the Android section. When we went to check it out, it had disappeared. However, checking this morning, there it was!

Now, developer Game Resort has brought that fun to your Android handset in Doodle Bowling, an animated bowling game with some decent physics behind it.

Well Herocraft has just released a new game available for Android devices called Russian Fishing which brings all the goodness of fishing right to your Android phone. While this isn’t the first fishing game for Android, it is one of only two that is actually good and offers lots of customizing options for your to explore.
The ever popular PES 2010 game by Konami is being revisited and revised with new features in the next installment to the soccer series of games. PES 2011 will have two major changes involved with it: 1) It will have social features added to it through a platform like Scoreloop or OpenFeint and 2) It will come with local WiFi and Bluetooth multiplayer.
Backflip Studios has been a major iOS developer for some time now with some extremely popular games. In fact one of them is already on the Android market called Paper Toss. This is just like Toss It! so if you’ve played one then you’ve played both although I believe they developed the game first. However due to the great response they have had, they will be porting over their other popular games!
Code Monkeys have been a long time developer of games for various platforms including the Wii, PSP, iPhone, Xbox and more. Mostly specializing in 3D sports games, Code Monkeys made the leap of faith onto the Android platform recently with their new game Manic Monkey Pool which is a 3D pool game with all sorts of twists including oddly shaped pool tables to play on.
