Square Enix’s online storefront was a bit of a rough place to navigate through, regardless as to whether or not you’re on your mobile device at that time. However the company has apparently been working hard on redesigning it and today is the official launch of their new online store. Along with the new store design, Square Enix has revived their old but popular Square Enix® MEMBERS Rewards Program.

[Update: Event Started] Deadman’s Cross now has expanded cross-platform multiplayer. Resident Evil Revelations 2 cross-over event coming soon.
Deadman’s Cross from Square Enix has been available on mobile devices for some time now. In case you didn’t know, this was actually an exclusive release for mobile devices… that is until today. Square Enix has release Deadman’s Cross onto the PS Vita (accessible through the Playstation Network). With this release onto the PS Vita, Square Enix has expanded the cross-platform multiplayer features to include this new PS Vita release.
[Update: Released] Square Enix will be bringing Bravely Archive: D’s Report to Android in Japan next month
Word on the street these days is that Square Enix will be bringing Bravely Archive: D’s Report to Android next month although so far Japan is the only location that the game has been announced for. This will be the first Bravely game for smartphones and tablets, with previous title having been made available for the Nintendo 3DS.
Square Enix is certainly upholding their promise of bringing Dragon Quest games to Android gamers since the company has steadily released titles within that franchise since that original announcement. Today we get another addition to the Dragon Quest franchise and this time it is Dragon Quest V.
While Square Enix won’t be bringing Final Fantasy games from FF7 and up to mobile anytime soon, the company will be bringing Final Fantasy spin-offs, mini-games, and other titles based on the Final Fantasy world to Android. In fact they already have been doing this with titles like Final Fantasy G-Bike being released. The company’s newest title announced in the Final Fantasy franchise for Android is a game called Mevius Final Fantasy.
One thing that comes with any holiday season are seasonal content updates for a slew of games. The other thing that happens are sales, lots and lots of sales and in this case it is Android games. Square Enix has put a selection of their games on sale for the holiday season.
Yesterday we posted a bit of a PSA on our Facebook and Google+ and re-tweeted Square Enix’s post on Twitter about the official release of Final Fantasy VI and the fact that it would be arriving today for Android devices. We said we would officially post when it becomes available and so here we are, posting that it is available for purchase now.
Square Enix is getting in on the action today in regards to the ridiculous amount of great games being released onto Android. Is it a new Final Fantasy game? No. But it is a new Dragon Quest game. Actually it is Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation to be exact which is apparently one of the most popular installments in the series from back in the day according to Square Enix.
Square Enix has a new free-to-play strategy RPG title heading our way soon called Heavenstrike Rivals and while this game will be released worldwide in te very near future, residents of Canada and Australia have the ability to play it now thanks to the company releasing the game as a soft launch in these two regions.
As with any holiday that comes our way, developers love to put their games on sale during each one. Square Enix is no exception to this and right now the company has discounted Dragon Quest IV by 33%. In other words, instead of forking out $14.99 for this game, you only have to pay $9.99 instead, saving you $5 basically.
