For whatever particular reason Epic Games has decided to release a new video showing off Epic Citadel on Android but this time on Intel’s Z2580 dual-core Atom processor. Recently release onto Google Play, Epic Citadel is basically an interactive tech demo where users can move around and explore some of the areas in the universe where the Infinity Blade series takes place, this mostly being a castle and the town inside the walls of said castle.

We’ve talked numerous times in the past how Epic and their games division have not released, nor ever had plans to release, anything on Google Play. It’s been a topic of conversation here on the site plenty of times and how we have always felt that it is stupid that they don’t release anything for Android, only iOS. So imagine our surprise when we got a tip saying that Epic Citadel was now available on Google Play.
Last week we reported on Gameloft announcing their first Unreal Engine 3 built game, along with some art to tease everyone with. Thanks to an anonymous tip, we now have new information about this game or at least what it could very well be called. Let us jump into it shall we?
Gameloft just informed us about their first Unreal Engine 3 made game, something we talked about was going to happen awhile ago and now it seems to be coming along nicely. In total, Gameloft is supposed to have 4-5 Unreal Engine 3 developed games and now we get to take a quick look at the first one.
A new game has just appeared on nVidia’s Tegra Zone called The Dark Meadow. Developed by Phosphor Games Studios, this upcoming game is a rather dark, thriller type of single-player FPS title which is being built using Unreal Engine 3 and will be available for Android devices sporting a Tegra chipset.
Well here is some news that could very well be of great interest to use Android users who also enjoy playing games. Adobe and Epic have teamed up and announced that the Unreal Engine 3 will now support the new Flash 11 from Adobe. Could we see Unreal Flash games on Android soon?

Two days ago I posted about the iOS game developed by Chair Entertainment which used Unreal Engine 3. Even though this game is for the iOS it gives us a glimpse as to what we could expect to see when games start coming out for the Android platform using Unreal Engine 3.
