We went to the GameStop Expo yesterday to check out everything we could during the one-day event, and there is usually a decent amount of mobile goodness each year. DotEMU, the guys and gals that release older games for Android that fared well in arcades (such as Double Dragon, King of Fighters, Metal Slug, and more) have announced that they have been sold and the founders will establish a new publishing company, called Playdigious.

To be released by Likuco, Blockodile is a simple swiping game set to hit Google Play in about two weeks. The premise of the game is simple: a crocodile has escaped its cage, and is hiding atop a tower that it has built. Players are looking to retrieve the crocodile and return it to its cage, by swiping away the blocks that were used to assemble the tower in the first place.
Bulb Boy is a horror-adventure game currently being development for PC gamers (via Steam) that has already started winning awards while it is being developed. This is a 2D point-and-click adventure game that pays a little homage to the point-and-click adventure games from back in the day that were incredibly popular.
Originally spawned on the SNES in the mid 1990s Breath of Fire grew into well known RPG series that’s spanned all sorts of platforms over the last couple of decades. According to a report from Geek Snack, Capcom is now testing a release of Breath of Fire 6 for release on Android, as a free to play game.
Released by Panteon, MoBu is a game about an ape who’s both vociferously hungry, and incredibly lazy. As the story goes, MoBu encounters a witch doctor named MaGu, who uses magic to allow the ape to magically extend his own arms, thus easing his search for food.
We have been hinting at the fact that Vivid Games would be doing a beta testing phase for their upcoming Real Boxing 2 title. Well apparently there is a way to sign up for a chance to get into the beta when it does happen. Not only will you get access to the beta when it starts, you get some other perks as well.
Telltale Games will be very busy at PAX Prime this year, with their special ‘Crowd Play’ of the new episode for Tales from the Borderlands going on, and now news that the company will also have a playable copy of Minecraft: Story Mode on hand at PAX Prime. So if you are going to PAX Prime this year, and are a Minecraft fan, you will want to keep an eye out for this.
We’ve been following the development for Vivid Games’ upcoming Real Boxing 2 title since it was announced not too long ago. We even got to get some hands-on time with the game during Gamescom 2015. Unfortunately though we were unable to take any pictures or video for you, our readers, while we were playing Real Boxing 2. However, we are now able to show you some of the gameplay thanks to new screenshots from our friends over at Vivid Games.

Today seems to be a busy day for Square Enix as the company has launched their Final Fantasy Portal App as well as Final Fantasy VII onto iOS. Android users are supposed to be getting the Portal App as well, but so far Square Enix hasn’t announced a release date for Final Fantasy VII for Android, or if it will even be coming at all. In the meantime though, Square Enix has confirmed the release date for Lara Croft GO for mobile as well as releasing new screenshots as well.
