World Zombination is currently in development by Proletariat Inc. and is a very strange hybrid game in that it is labeled as an ‘MMO Tower Defense’ game. This may seem strange at first but the concept is actually kind of interesting. Players will have a choice to make, either finish destroying the world with hordes of zombies, or try helping the last remaining survivors defend against the undead hordes now roaming around.

[Updated] World of Tanks Generals Closed Beta has begun. Browser version first, Android version coming in the near future
Wargaming.net has announced their new World of Tanks Generals game has begun closed beta testing and that sign-ups are now live. To start off with, the closed beta will be browser version only but will have an Android and iOS version added to the closed beta testing phase in the near future.

Studio Balkin, the crew behind the Dark Guardians game, have announced a new game that will be heading to Android soon called Slashing Demons. Many of you may remember 22Can’s rather interesting social gaming experiment called Curiosity which essentially had thousands and thousands of mobile gamers tapping away at a giant cube in the hopes of being the person who gets the last tap to reveal the very center of the cube. This person was promised a life changing reward for getting that last tap. 18-year-old Bryan Henderson happen to be that person and when he accessed the center of the cube, he was greeted with a video congratulating him, giving him a contact email address to use in order to claim his life changing prize.

Acquire, the Tokyo-based game development studio behind the Way of The Samurai and Tenchu series, has announced their newest game today which will be heading to Android in just over a week’s time. The new game is called Fort Raiders Smaaash! and it is a new combat strategy type of game.
Noodlecake Games is gearing up to release a third game in the ‘Mikey’ franchise this week called Mikey Boots. If you’ve played either of the two previous games (Mikey Shorts and Mikey Hooks) then you probably already have a bit of an idea as to what you should expect with Mikey Boots.
We get to see plenty of hybrid games that mesh two or more genres together come our way and we have seen pretty much every combination that you can think of. Gamevil has announced that they have signed a deal with two different game development companies in order to bring a couple of PC games to mobile devices. The company has inked a deal with Dragonfly and Ginno Games in order to bring a PC game from each of those studios to mobile.

At the end of January 2015 fans of the Duke Nukem franchise got a surprise announcement. That announcement was a massive collection of Duke Nukem games that are coming to Android in what is called the Duke Nukem 3D: Hail to the King Collection. We got a chance to talk with Richard “TerminX” Gobeille of Voidpoint, the company behind the collection, about the upcoming release and all things Duke Nukem.
