Monster High is a franchise that only recently launched, with its own line of toys and a cartoon. It’s about a high school full of monsters, obviously, that seems to have gotten really popular as of late. Now the franchise has its own mobile game called Monster High Minis Mania.
For those familiar with the Quell Series (the eponymous Quell, along with Quell Memento, Quell Reflect, and others unrelated to this franchise, such as Swapperoo) will be happy to know that there’s a new entrant into this line of logic games: Quell Zen. In a similar format to the other Quell games, players will be guiding a raindrop around a board, by using swiping gestures to cause it to move until its path is obstructed, while doing so in such a way as to navigate it around the board and avoiding obstacles.
Capture treasure while sinking rival pirate ships in Age of Booty: Tactics, now out on Google Play
For those who are fans of naval strategy, there’s a new game to help scratch that itch. Titled as Age of Booty: Tactics, this game is a pirate-themed, turn-based strategy game, with card-based elements just to mix things up. Players will begin by selecting a name for their ship’s captain, while others become available as missions are completed, and they form a “rogue’s gallery” that players can later choose from.
Square Enix confirms a Western release for Mobius Final Fantasy, arriving August 3rd on Android
Mobius Final Fantasy is a game we reported on back in April 2015 when the game was originally revealed. At that time there was no confirmation on whether or not this game would see life over on Western shores. However, thanks to a new announcement trailer from Square Enix, we now have confirmation of a Western release which will be happening in August of this year.
Bethesda’s wildly popular Fallout spin-off game for mobile devices, called Fallout Shelter, has received a new update today which the company is stating is the biggest update for the game so far. This update, which changes the version to 1.6, adds an entirely new combat system as well as a slew of new quests and more to the game.
Mobile MMORPGs have started getting more and more in-depth as well as popular, like their PC brethren. In fact there’s plenty of PC-based MMORPGs currently getting either mobile versions made of them, or spin-off games for mobile gamers to play. There is a new one on the way called CubeMatrix: Pixel Wars and it looks pretty interesting to say the least.
Fans of RTS games have a new one to dive into today called Crush Your Enemies by Gambitious. This particular game is a bit unique in that it has cross-platform gameplay between the PC version, which also launched today, and the mobile version. It also comes with plenty of humor meshed into it all.
Another popular PC-based MMORPG will be getting a spin-off game for mobile devices called Blade & Soul: Hongmoon Rising. The original game, called Blade & Soul, was published by NCSoft and they will also be the publishers for this new title as well. Interestingly enough, this new game won’t just be for mobile, but for PC as well. This would be the second spin-off for mobile devices for this franchise.
Released by Senshu Artware, Hanabi Party is a new casual game about fireworks. In this game, players will watch and wait for fireworks to be launched into the air, from behind the landscape at the bottom of the screen. As they fire into the air, players will attempt to tap on them, before they reach the top.
