A list of carriers who will be stocking the Xperia Play, also an unlocked version?

I’m sure everyone was ready for the onslaught of Xperia Play news that was going to happen once the official announcement was made yesterday so here is yet another article about the Xperia Play. This time though it is just a list for everyone to use as reference so they know which carriers will be stocking it at release time.

UK Carriers:

  • O2
  • Three
  • Vodafone
  • T-Mobile

US Carriers:

  • Verizon
  • AT&T

Canadian Carriers:

  • Rogers

That is the list so far of carriers who will be stocking the Xperia Play at launch time. Verizon is apparently confirmed to be stocking the Xperia Play while PocketNow is stating that it will be coming to AT&T. It could come to both. PocketNow is also stating that there is a possibility of an unlock version of the Xperia Play which will make a lot of people, including myself, happy.

There were a total of 5 models announced: R800a, R800at, R800i, R800x, and Z1i with the R800a and R800at both supporting AT&T bands. As we find out more carriers, we will add to the list.

On a side note, Expansys is showing the Xperia Play retailing at £539.99. As more pricing becomes available, we will add it to here as well. If you find out anything, let us know in the comments and we will add it!

Thanks to Rachid for spotting the Expansys pricing.
