A new ‘endless’ game is heading our way in a couple of days called Chop Block by Vital Zigns. Technically this game is an endless 2D platformer where you control this little block character and try to survive as long as possible by avoiding massive saws that are bend on slicing you up.

Thanks to a new update from Exozet, their version of the popular strategy board game Carcassonne on Android (and other platforms) now has the ability to play against other people on other platforms with the addition of cross-platform multiplayer. This means that even if your friends own an Windows phone for some reason, you can now play with them.
Emulating another operating system on a platform not native to said operating system isn’t a new thing. There are plenty of emulators out there that can emulate just about anything you want, even on a platform like Samsung Gear Live. So while putting Window95 onto your Gear Live might seem a bit odd of an idea at first, until the cool factor sets in. Of course playing DOOM on it definitely adds to that.
SEGA and fast growing e-hail app Hailo have teamed up to bring a sort of real-life Crazy Taxi experience to New York Comic Con which will be happening October 9th and 10th. This rather creative experience was thought up to help celebrate the addition of Hulk Hogan to the recently released mobile game Crazy Taxi City Rush.
We haven’t talked about a game going to Kickstarter for funding in awhile but today a new title is looking for funding and it looks very promising. Rogue Wizards RPG is the game and it is being developer by Spellbind Studios. This is their first game that will also be released onto multiple platforms (Android, iOS, PC) but the biggest aspect about this Kickstarter campaign is that it has praise from some seriously big people in the game industry: the creators of Diablo, Torchlight, Left 4 Dead, and Marvel Heroes.
The Ouya console and marketplace will be getting another great game soon called Back To Bed from Bedtime Digital Games. Currently this game is already available on Google Play but if you own an Ouya, you’ll be able to pick up an optimized version of the game in the not-too-distant future.
Anytime I hear the name Ubisoft mentioned, I always focus my attention on the story. The game developer has a long successful history in creating dynamic console games, as well as mobile games. A few weeks ago, word of a new Assassin’s Creed game (Assassin’s Creed: Identity) in development for Android/iOS, seemingly appeared out of nowhere. This week, it has been announced, that a new game from the Ubisoft Shanghai Studio will arrive next week. The game is called The Bot Squad: Puzzle Battles. It will arrive in the Play Store October 16th.
