Ouya has gone through some interesting changes since the concept was announced, then having an extremely successful Kickstarter campaign which raised $8.5 million with promises of a new console every year, and then every other year with the latest hardware, and then changing business models completely and making their marketplace available on Android devices other than the Ouya console itself. The newest change is a rather interesting one, Ouya as a company has been put up for sale.

Square Enix has pushed out a new update for Heavenstrike Rivals that bring the game’s version number up to 3.0. This update brings a slew of new features, tweaks, and bug fixes to this game. In fact there is a whole lot of new content and feature which, if you check the changelog on Google Play for this game, you won’t see much of anything in the way of details covering it all.
DittoBeat is a new rhythm-based game that is now available on Google Play. Unlike a lot of rhythm-based games that have constantly changing content that you need to perform an action to the beat that is going on, this new game has you basically playing a Simon-style game, but doing it to the beat of the music. This does add a new level of difficulty to the whole Simon type of gameplay.
Telltale Games is currently working on a new game series based on an as of yet unspecified Marvel property. No platforms were specified but all of their recent games have come to Android devices.
For fans of top down, tactical, squad based shooters, there will be another entry to Android’s growing list. Currently dubbed “Project CQB” (per the dev’s website, that’s only a place holding title), this game is where players control a squad of three units, and will face off against a squad of the same size, with each side attempting to killing off the others.
Goya Studio, which is an indie game studio based in Ho Chi Minh, VietNam, has recently released their game, Omega: The First Movement on iOS a few weeks ago. Having recently talked with the studio, it appears Omega: The First Movement should be arriving soon in the Google Play Store.
